The Epstein Files

According to one survivor he “sucked on her nipples until they were raw” when she was a teen, and another said he and Epstein raped her for a year straight, so we’re talking like Dahmer levels of depravity here. Serial pedophilia of the highest order. And America chose him. Deeply sick country.

It is both true that Garland sucked and also true that multiple court cases were working through the system in which the documents were sealed under order of a judge. But there is also a general sickness of “we can’t prosecute a president because that’s political” even if that president ran around for decades raping teens.

Plus the Dem's leadership seem to about as bright as a sack of hamsters when dealing with Trump
I think it would be reasonable to assume that many of the people charged with handling this case were career employees and not people connected with the party leadership or political appointees’ offices.

reading some of the news i can't even mentally summarize the amount of insanity contained in these releases, and we've barely made it a few days in. the pedo letter and baby murder sticks out but i can't even, man. how do you even mentally sort this

nobody does . Once there was god given rights of kings . Now there is election given rights of presidents . That's 30 to 40 years of brain washing developed from millenia of tricks . Spite is cool when you don't have to work to improve yourself and those who would deserve to be in a higher status than you if the system was based on actual merit can shoot themselves or something as you just need to be vote from time to time and soon bots will be voting in your name too . You can be an absolute nothing , no need to strive ... Watching tumblr in the past years the rallying Maga cry was shooting pedos or something . Not a word these days ...

You knew when he shut down those reporters with "who is still talking about this creep?" that Donald Trump had a bad history and was involved in this.
They are probably blackmailing him now and using him as a puppet "if you pass this and sign this, we'll make it go away" or something like that.
Dangerous stuff.

Plus the Dem's leadership seem to about as bright as a sack of hamsters when dealing with Trump
The people involved in this sponsor both parties.

Question: why did Biden let him get away with it?

Biden had a liquid brain and perpetrated a genocide during his term in office, this is not the gotcha question you seem to think it is

DOJ Leadership Looking For Holiday Volunteers To Help Review Epstein Files, Per Internal Email: Report

The U.S. Justice Department's leadership made an "emergency request" to the Southern District of Florida’s U.S. Attorney’s Office for volunteer attorneys to help review and redact documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein files over the "next several days," in exchange for days off later, CNN reported, citing an internal DOJ email.

"I am aware that the timing could not be worse," the U.S. Attorney's Office leadership wrote Tuesday, per CNN. "For some the holidays are about to begin, but I know that for others the holidays are coming to an end."

The email suggests that the DOJ could be releasing more Epstein files over the holidays after failing to meet a deadline to make the full set of documents available by Dec. 19.

I guess the DOJ hasn't a clue about what they are doing beyond "delay, delay delay."

A million more Epstein documents have been found, the Justice Dept. says.

The Justice Department said on Wednesday that it had discovered over a million more documents potentially related to the investigation of the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — increasing the amount previously known and lengthening the time it will take to release the material.

To date, the department has released about 130,000 pages of information, some of it redacted, to comply with a law passed by Congress requiring the disclosure of most of the material about Mr. Epstein. Under the law, the administration may withhold records that identify victims or information that would “jeopardize an active federal investigation.”

The law gave the Justice Department a deadline of last Friday to release the files, and a batch of about 100,000 pages was released that day. But over the weekend, the deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche, said that about a million pages of information were being reviewed, and that the full release would take a few more weeks.

On Wednesday, the Justice Department said the F.B.I. and the U.S. attorney’s office in the Southern District of New York, which oversaw the investigations into Mr. Epstein and his longtime confidante, Ghislaine Maxwell, had informed the department “that they have uncovered over a million more documents potentially related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.”

Democratic lawmakers, who had criticized the Justice Department’s release of the material, immediately accused the Trump administration of violating the law mandating that the files be released by Dec. 19. “It’s outrageous that the D.O.J. has illegally withheld over one million documents from the public,” Representative Robert Garcia of California, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, said in a statement.

Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat of New York and the minority leader, accused the Trump administration of hiding something. “Justice delayed is justice denied,” he said in a social media post. “Release the files. Follow the law.” Since late November, the department has assigned nearly 200 lawyers from the national security division to review the documents and remove any information about victims, or anything that would compromise continuing investigations or national security.

Earlier this week, department officials sent out an emergency request for reinforcements, asking for lawyers to volunteer over the holiday break to join the effort, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal workings of the department. It is unclear how many lawyers volunteered. “We have lawyers working around the clock to review and make the legally required redactions to protect victims, and we will release the documents as soon as possible,” the department said on social media. It added that releasing all the material may now take “a few more weeks.”

The department’s release of material related to Mr. Epstein has not gone smoothly. After the initial release last week, some photographs were removed from the online collection because of what the department described as concerns they might contain information about victims.

One image showed a credenza with a number of photos on it, including one of President Trump. Mr. Blanche disputed that the image was removed to protect the president, and said concerns had been raised about whether that image contained any victims. The image was later restored to the collection.

A subsequent release Monday of some 30,000 pages also got off to a rough start, as the pages were available for a few hours, then taken down, then put back online.

I rather think that they would have done better to release the lot by that deadline and never mind about redaction.
Oh, the redactions are mostly about protecting Trump, members of his administration and members of "Their Team" more than the victims.

I have gradually come around over the years to accepting he committed suicide and was not murdered.
There is too much weird stuff in the jail records for me to accept suicide. But in any case he is still dead.

I mean the upside defence case here is he's only a regular rapist of adults
The 2015-16 lawsuit against him and Epstein was brought by two girls who were 13 and 14 at the time. the case was dropped as soon as he was elected in 2016. the case records are pretty clear though: Trump was "liking them on younger side" too!
