The Epstein Files

I don’t think you’ve put a lot of thought into this. The relationship between a close friend accused of murder, and my non-existent relationship with a political figure who wrote a weird letter—you see that difference as being indicative of something, and make some insinuation (about me) based off that.

I simply didn’t think it sounded like him. Then again, I’ve never seen him write dialogue. I’m just open to the possibility based on this cursory reading.
20 years ago Trump had a different skill set and I would guess he has/had a different way of interacting with men friends about women. Pussy tape?

I don’t know the guy other than what I’ve seen on TV, so all I can do is be introspective and think that I’m certainly not the same person I was 20 years ago. My taste, habits, ways of thinking are different—but I went from being a college student to working schlub, maybe the contrasts become less stark as time passes.

Yes WSJ is typically paywalled. Some say a vpn can bypass some paywalls. idk.

The whole book is available online from the House committee.

Whatever their politics are, these people—they’re not my kind of people.

This short quote is from the NYT article on JP Morgan Bank and Epstein. It is a very long article but full of good stuff.

" [JP Morgan] It filed a report with federal regulators that retroactively flagged as suspicious some 4,700 Epstein transactions — totaling more than $1.1 billion and including hundreds of millions of dollars in payments to Russian banks and young Eastern European women who were brought to the United States...."

I never thought about it like this but one of the scary things about being a powerful person isn’t just that you can be corrupted, it’s that you have to associate with those who may already be.

Do they acquire this sense because they’re powerful, or did the power come as a result of them being who they are in the first place? I know there’s studies about executives and different kinds of disorders, but the problem I see is that you can only measure things that are measurable: for all we know we may never see the nucleus.

Or maybe I’m totally wrong about the whole thing and selection bias is beating down my ability to reason. Who knows?

In the corporate world it takes a particular kind of personality to rise to the top and to do so one needs the skill set that matches the needs of the corporation. Money and power can be very corrupting and feed the "need" for more of both. Some key traits include: competitive, controlling, smart, persuasive, opportunistic, knowledgeable.

Bird. What are you on again?
The most important trait is deceit. Don't you know?

I certainly wish I could confirm it is a real photo, but it is undoubtedly doctored in some fashion. Even so it is entertaining.

Original is from June 2020, She was wearing a plain white dress (perfect canvas for photoshopping in words).

It's possible he got one of the girls at Mar-a-Largo to write it

I have seen that sort of birthday card for sale in shops.

There is in my mind no way that Donald Trump actually
wrote it; he just doesn't have that sort of literary intellect.

I reckon it was reworked from one such by one of his staff,
perhaps even a family member or as you say one of the girls.

Twenty years ago Donald had a brain. He has been losing it bit by bit and now has much less of what he had back then.
