The Eve of War

TO: The Nations of America
FROM: The Republic of California
CC: The United Socialist States of America

The Republic of California issues a condemnation of the United Socialist States of America's unwarranted acts of aggression towards its neighbors. The United Socialist States of America proves, through its invasions, a threat to the greater good of our continent, and it is California's firm belief that such aggression should be disrupted and challanged on every possible front. California declares a trading embargo upon the USSA, and urges that other nations of America do the same.

Panda........? Being nice.......? To me........? Good lord its the apocalypse!!!

From USSA
To California

We merely demand that the Nazi government of New England steps down and stops his crimes against the proletariat, we shall not negotiate peace as long as the Nazi tyrants oppress the proletariat of New England.

To USSA
From New England

Quit calling the kettle black you communist overlord!! :p We wouldn't need to take such extreme action if it weren't for you and your overly aggressive greed to see all the world under your boot. Had you merely been content to leave the world at peace, had you not taken deliberate steps to further this foolhardy vision of worker supremacy, we would not be in the situation we are today. So shod of you filthy red bleeding pigs!!

I don't know who to root for. Commies, or Nazis? Nazis, or Commies? Reds or Nazis?

Mmm whats more dangerous... guess we'll find out soon enough...

Hmm Brown is an awful colour...

I'm not a Nazi! I'm a hard-liner, capitalist loving, democrat whose secretly accepted aid from the Nazi's :mischief: Hey, anyone of you would have done the same if you were in my postion, so don't judge :p

Edit: Anyway, orders sent!! Victory for New England!!! :salute:

TO: The United Socialist States of America
FROM: The Republic of California

The actions taken by the United Socialist States of America are completely illegal. The 'liberation of the proletariat' is not a suffiecient excuse to go on wars of conquest against neighbors both east and west of your country, and you only seek to prove that the USSA is not a part of a cooperative, prosperous American continent. The United Socialist States is rather a force acting against prosperity, seeking to further its own flawed agenda which in reality shall only increase the pain and suffering of our peoples. California will cease all trade with the USSA, and urges the rest of the nations of our continent to do so, until it fully withdraws from the borders of the nations which it has invaded.

TO: The Commonwealth of Columbia
FROM: The Republic of California

California believes that the key to prosperity lies in peace and cooperation. Let our two, liberal, democratic nations prove to the world that power lies in economic cooperation and strength, and not aggressive force of arms. We propose an alliance, aswell as a pact of free-trade, to bind our two nations close together, and to provide for a common defense and welfare. This agreement is to be called the Pacific Pact.

Addendum to orders sent.

TO: The Rocky Mountain Union
FROM: The Republic of California

The Republic of California declares war upon the Rocky Mountain Union for its illegal invasion of the nation of Deseret. Deseret represents a traditional buffer between the nations of the west and the nations of the east within our American continent, and the destruction of such buffer or barrier presents a direct threat to the balance of power upon our continent, aswell as a clear and pointed threat towards the territorial integrity of California itself. We will only agree to peace if the RMU agrees to the complete withdrawl of Deseret territory aswell as the reparation payment of 2 IC to the nation of Deseret. Otherwise, The Republic of California will force the matter.

Supreme Court Decision

The Supreme Court has ruled that it can not decide whether or not new elections can be held; however they have stipulated that if the senate and/or lower house makes a vote and decides to hold new elections then those elections would be constitutionally legitamate. The debate now rages back i nthe senate and lower house as both parts of government prepare for a vote for new electiosn for each of their respected houses.
