Rooney played pretty well throughout, though with one glaring mis-kick when straight through on goal.

Fergie must be patting himself on the back now. A makeshift line-up, including Fabio, Rafael O'Shea and Gibson as the midfield, allow Arsenal all the posession they like, but let them only have it in areas which can't hurt you. Almost as if he's been watching Mourinho's teams...

deserved win in the end for Inter, but Bayern should've finished it in the first half!

Bayern - Inter was a great match! (partly because the error count of both teams was quite high in the end)

Bayern should have been 4 up in the first half, both slowly Inter's veterans resisted and took control of the game during the 2nd half and finished on top of them.
Maybe a bit cruel for Bayern overall, but they have to finish these things off next time.
