PART ONE

One ordinary day in a small town where boredom was found in every corner, every inch was boredom. Even animals were bored, “I’m bored!” the animals said. You see!

There was a boy named Alex who was getting ready for a small party in the park. A birthday party for his cousin’s, cousin’s, cousin’s cousin.

“Alex! Chelsy and Laura is here,” my mom yelled from the kitchen, “they’re waiting for you!”

I slid down the stair railings and flew out the door. They were waiting in the old Ford that I hated for so many years, uug. I ran to the car and opened the squeaky door, pushed my cousins in the back seat and sat down.

My aunt began driving down the road.
“Wutup” I said.
“Hi” all three responded simultaneously.

We talked for one minute until we were there.

“I never have seen this park here!” I yelled suspiciously.
“You didn’t? Wow, well, we didn’t either; Manny told us about it, we thought you knew about this one. Anyways, the party’s here!” Chelsy said.
“Hmmmmm” I thought outloud.

There were kids in the basketball courts, baseball courts, swings and just the grass. We knew no one though.

“They’re there!” Laura yelled.

I saw a stack of hands moving straight ahead, I guess it’s them.
We walked to the picnic site; it was a long, long walk.

“Are we ever going to get there?” I asked.
“Dunno, you tell me!” they answered with murk.

We were there, Manny and his friends Dido and Johanna were waiting. I noticed a stream next to us that leaded up north; I couldn’t see where it ends though.

“Hey birthday boy! How old are you Manny?” my cousin asked.

“Um… Oh, 13!” Manny answered.
“I see, anyone wanna play basketball?” I asked.

No one except me was a basketball fan, but Dido decided he would play, so we walked to the basketball court.

“So are you good?” I asked.
“Pretty much, why don’t we play and you could find out?” he answered with a smile on his face.
“Okay! Lets do this,” I answered confidently.

The game was long and we were tired. The score was neck in neck, we decided to take a drink in the picnic site and come back.

When we got there one of my friends named Christopher told us that everyone went hiking up the river.

“The river?” I asked.
“Yeah, the one right there!” he answered.
He pointed to the stream I saw a while ago.
“Ohhhh, you guys wanna follow them?” I asked them.
With those words is where it all began…

PART TWO

We started walking; we decided not to tell anyone we were leaving because we wanted to scare the girls and Manny. We thought it would be fun.

The trail was long for a while the river was next to us and we were wondering where they were. A hooded pale man just walked across us, we asked him if he knew about some girls up the trail and he just stared and kept walking down.

“Wow, he’s creepy” Dido commented.
“Shhhhhh, he probably could hear us and kill us,” Chris said
We started laughing; I think he did hear us.

We continued to walk. The small trail was thin, we had to walk one behind the other, I was at the end. I could see my footprints on the dirt floor all the way down to where we started. We stopped on a fork in the trail, one that leads north and one that leads west.
“Which way?” I asked.
“Hmmmm, dunno, I don’t think they went back to the picnic, so lets go north” Dido said.
“Well that sounds good,” Chris agreed ”Ok.”

The kids walked up north, were trouble laid ahead them…

“Hey! There’s footprints going this way, we must be going the right way!”

The footprints were going all the way north, we decided to follow it until we find them. There were trees all around us, the branches stretched out into the walkway. I almost tripped twice. The footprints kept on going and going and never stopped.

“Wow, how far did they go?! They must have strong legs,” Dido said.
“Yup probably” I said.

The trail opened up, it wasn’t a trail anymore. The trees were spread out and it looked like a campsite, which was deserted. Moss and mold was everywhere. Dido was throwing sticks and branches in the river beside us. Where were we?

PART THREE… its being written right now.

It was a strange start, but it's going OK now that I see it was just a lead in. Please continue...
