The game will now quit...

For some reason at a certain point in my game, this error message comes up:

Missing Entry in "./Conquests Game Data\text\Pedialcons.txt": _LARGE

The game will now exit.

I believe it may have something to do with the completion of Feudalism, since I've noticed that is supposed to be completed on the turn when this error forces the game to quit.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is a known issue - see a previous thread with a similar title.

It has been identified, and will be fixed in the upcoming patch from Aspyr. Apparently it is caused by queuing up multiple techs for research, and this confuses the current software so that it loses track of the queue. So you can avoid it in future games by only selecting one tech at a time.

I have been able to hex edit a previous player's save so that s/he could continue that game. If you want me to try to do that for your game, please send me the save at alanh <at> civfanatics.net. Replace <at> to make a real email address.

Okay, thanks. Don't worry about hex editing my save, I'm still getting to grips with the game anyway, so it's not that important.
