Well, I beat the first level of Metroid Prime, and I'm starting to like it. (I actually beat it a while ago; just didn't post yet.)
And I don't think charging the battery is all that bad, considering you save a bunch of money and you can usually reach a power source within 10 hours (the play limit without recharging, with the light on).

You can play a game while charging the battery, but obviously it will recharge more slowly. And yes, charging the battery when it's not near-empty will shorten the life-span. (But from what I understand, the normal span is about 500 hours, which is plenty for me.) To be safe, just recharge when the light turns red.Originally posted by XIII

I do find changing the battery may be a bit hassling, with that screw in place though...
