The Great German Empire... by chance

I decided to see how quick the quickstart was, so I clicked it. Five seconds later, I see that I am the Germans (one of my favorites) and *low and behold*, my settler started adjacent to not one, but TWO wheat resources!! I promptly founded Berlin, and with the population soaring I made a warrior to explore and a spearman to defend. After that, it was all settlers, one every two or three turns!! My worker had a hard time keeping up with the roads, and I soon had three units exploring, not to mention four new techs, all thanks to those goody huts. About one hundred turns later, I have conquered the French, English, and am close to completing my war of aggression in Russia. Next, the Egyptions on a lush continent right below mine will fall, MWAHAHAHA!! And all of this was accomplished with that one lucky starting location... chance has a lot to do with this game, in my opinion
