The great Pyramid of Giza...
400 cubits at base length, and 2.300.000 blocks of limestone, and granite.

We have navigable rivers...
We need barges...
Amhenotep
Khufu
A map the size of AC Origin with the Aswan quarry
multiple Sea people invasions fleets from the north
other Kuhorsehockeyes rebels in the south

And a very big Pyramid to build...

If a city now can get 10x10 hexes wide, I'd assume the Great Pyramid should be at least 40x40 hexes wide (1hex=10cubits)
How many blocks would that make in total??? 2.300???
At a rate of 10 blocks per turn, and ten barges per turn rate... it could be done in... 230 turns??
Seems reasonable...
Well of course we should fit 250-300 turns into 25 years so about one month per turn should do it.
Zahi Hawass would be proud of it.

How do Devs solve the verticality puzzle perhaps...

These should also be resized to at least three hexes, one for pyramid, also, just to get a more 'in scale' appearance with the wildly larger base cities design...
Palm trees can get 30, 40 mt? Giza Pyramid (Khufu) was 280 cubits in height, or 146.6 mt. and second (Khafre) is 143 mt, so basically at same height...
Instead here there is a palm tree the same height of the second pyramid...

In the proposed scenario, the mountain on the left should be just a small corner section of the actual Great Pyramid....

Too much going on here so only one answer : 42

You need to put some military unit near pyramids - you'll see some person being almost as tall as the great pyramid!

Seriously, unrealistic proportions on the video game map is one of the weirdest complaints I've ever heard.

The one thing I agree with it that I hate the artists rendition of the Pyramids. It simply has nothing to do at all with Old Kingdom pyramids. That and the Oracle have been my most detested Wonders graphically for years. I can understand that artistic freedom is necessary, and some wonders need to be reduced, compressed to certain elements removed. For the Oracle, I can at least understand that the artists don't want to have Rectangular Temple #7, and they at least made an effort in 7 to include the Holy Pathway and the Kastalian Source, while still mostly focusing on the odd Tholos as main building of the Oracle. I hate it, but I can somewhat understand it. For the Pyramids, I'm alway at a loss how you could even come up with this (or civ 6's) monstrosity.

At least the Pyramids lost the association with granaries (of which I was never sure if it was meant as a joke or serious reference to something that has been outdated for a long time). Seem we exchanged the more historical looking graphics with nonsense ability for nonsense graphics with a more historical ability.

Also, a Global Wonders Project for the Antiquity Age, could be to build a Pyramid belt around the globe, so everyone can join, and build its Pyramid, maybe
one could choose on which constellation model its project upon. Giza = Osiris belt three pyramids, Asia, Oceania and the Americas one each get one slot for a Pyramid.
So four slot in total. Americas maybe Cholula single Pyramid for Aztec culture, And Double config Sun and Moon for North Americans and Mayan, Incas?? Cholula is just one but its massive. Asia could be either Chinese or Indian, or Siberia, each culture its own constellation. Either a Sun Moon double design or something more complex. Oceania Indonesia, Maori, Jomomo-Japan even could be included... Again, multiple choices, single big, or doble Sun Moon or triple design. Just for artistic pleasantry, adding uniqueness.

If the Pyramid building model would require actual hex wide blocks to build, it would be easier to track who built the bigger one.

And then the Project would unfold much like the International Space station project, everyone build its own Pyramid, and when the Project complete, that all Pyramids had been build
by the time limit, everyone gets a massive bonus from the final size of the Pyramid built, or other intrinsic values...

The Pyramids belt would boost every nation that lives on that belt with some extra bonuses, different from Gold, culture or Influence that can be immediately obtained, such as...

Immunity from all major Natural catastrophes in a 10hex radius from the centre of the belt line that span all the globe...
OR free (Quartzite radio)wifi for all civs 6hex radius from each major Pyramid... like free commerce, science and cultural or Medicine-health building mantainance untill modern times...

both of which looks good enough to me other than a free worker and 25% faster... ops, yes, that was civ V and VI... what bonus has the Great Pyramid now????

Here is also somehow hard to tell the height of this mountain, it seems double the normal height for other mountains... it will be really interesting to understand more of these tall structures / models in game.

A permanent protection from natural events seems like a very nice boost to me,
No plagues, earthquakes, locust storms... well, that maybe not....

It could be also religious boost, cultural boost, i.e. yield but that is boring...
Civ rev had it to choose from every possible government, included future.
That was the only time it felt different from the other usual growth boost bonus.

The Roman bonus of free roads between cities upon founding is something
that the Great Pyramid takes to mind, some empire spread bonus of sort,
like free Obelisk in every city or town upon foundation. Or Altar / Temple infinite money
glitch...
Or... Sonic wave medic centers... health, science related... that would be cool...

Or... Hydraulic ram pump power generator for industries and workshops...
I don't know if any of these would be possible but in theory...

The only major glitch is that it's supposedly been built in 10500B.C when
Sea levels were rising dramatically, and Civ-Ed has no plans to anger Hat the Flint Dribble
super archeologist flemma.

It's weird but clearly someone thinks realistic proportions are better looking than overblown.
