    ~THE GREAT ROMANS~
It started in 4000 BC. We've met allies, and possibly soon-to be enemies. This is my first story.:) We saw that people were angry easily. Since we just got iron, Legionaries are being made. We've made it so far. Late ancient times. So far, we've seen:
    England
    Greece
    Russia
    Egypt
    Carthage(Bordering, but not really met)
    Scandinavia

    Map(Earth):TETurkhan Test of Time (Regular).bix

    Current Treasury: 437 gold
1175 BC:The Legionary unit is used all over Northern Rome.

    1150 BC:Settlers are sent to modern-day Spain.
    Spoiler :
Plans are starting to be made to invade the English. I mean, really. They couldn't make it to that not taken land. And most of modern-day Scandinavia isn't taken yet.

Construction of the Great Lighthouse has begun.
1125 BC:Some Middle East countries like Israel and Persia are met.
We notice that Israel is possibly a slave country.

    Spoiler :

OOC:Am I doing a good job so far? I'm not taking risks of trading my Territory/World map, since it's Most Aggressive. I'm still at Chieftain level. I was going to start at 4000 BC, but I got too carried away. I removed most of the European countries for more settling space. Sorry for the bad picture quality. I'm using MS paint.

I don't usually trade my maps until later in the game, but that's my personal issue. I like to 'pretend' the AI doesn't know my every move. At chieften I wouldn't worry about the AI snatching up land before you.

I never trade maps because I'm paranoid. I haven't played this specific scenario, did you start with the western part of the empire?

I think an invasion of the Britains seems like a good idea. They appear to be a nuisance up there.

It starts with RL geographical starting locations so yes. I trade world maps depending on the deal offered and what else they're willing to depart with. So if they demand a tech in a world maps trade and have very little else to offer I kick the pompous ass of an envoy back to his respective country.

The first war is always the hardest. So you should pick whoever's weak, backwards, poor, etc. Sounds like the Brits could be that; of course, you'll need a navy.

If they're weak then you should definitely go up there.
