...when the OWNER researches dynamite? Seems weird that an invading army with high explosives would be slowed by something like that... it barely even kept the Mongols out at times.
I was attacking the Inca (Who suddenly decides they wanted to be warmongers and conquer half the map) after they were dumb enough to DoW me while I was an era and a half ahead of them in tech and they were already at war. The Great Wall was troubling and I didn't yet have Dynamite, so I waited and had to watch them eliminate Denmark and conquer half of Arabia while I built-up an army, constructed Brandenburg Gate and waited dilligently for Dynamite. When that came, I thought I could upgrade my artillery, march my units through and make mayhem. Then I notice moving one tile through their territory takes up all my movement points.
Is this new in G&K or was it this way in vanilla too? If it's intended to be that way, it sucks.
