The Panzer - It´s like an armor, but is more expensive, has stronger attack and weaker defense.
Militia - The Militia is an unit formed by civilians with light weapons. A very weak and cheap unit. It´s slightly weaker than a common Riflemen.
The Kamikaze - Airplanes that work like a cheaper and weaker kind of missile.

The Map References:
I decided to use the real names of the countries just to make it clear where things are happening.
All country names are the real names of countries of that time.
The Unions and Federations were divided in smaller countries. I divided everything in small parts because it would b very hard to guess what I want to say by "USSR" - it could almost any part of northern Asia or Europe.
So, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia and USSR will be divded, just for geographycal reference purpouses.

Have a strong navy, fairly powerful army and great air force. The Allies are also the most rich nation in the world.

THE AXIS
Government: Republic
Ruler: Fabio Burch (Player)
Have the strongest army, the second best navy and a great air force. The Axis has a good economy, althrough not as good as the Allies´.

THE SOVIETS
Government: Communism
Ruler: Josef Stalin
The Red Army is huge, but it is too much scattered all over the giant territory of USSR. Soviet forces include more than 150 riflemen units and many fortresses all over Western Russia. Soviet economy is well balanced, but not very rich at all.

THE FRENCH
Government: Democracy
Ruler: General Petain
The French Army is not very strong. Have a small navy and a very small air force. But, the French have an alliance pact with the powerful Allies. French economy is rich, but not very much.

THE TURKS
Government: Monarchy
Ruler: King Inonu
The Turks have the weakest army on earth. Their units are obsolete when compared to Soviet, Axis and Allies units, and there are not enough units to defend the whole country. The Turks only stand a good chance against the Neutrals. The economy is barely balanced.

THE NEUTRALS
Government: Monarchy
Ruler: Wilhelmina (queen of the Netherlands)
The Neutrals have the largest land extension of all. Neutral army is huge, but scattered all over the cities, from Iceland to India. Neutral armed forces are made of obsolete cavalrys, dragoons and riflemen. The Neutrals economy is not going well: total costs are slightly higher than income.

THE SPANISH
Government: Monarchy
Ruler: General Francisco Franco
The Spanish have a small army, small navy and small air force. Spain is currently divided by Civil War. Franco´s nationalist force fighting against the Leftist Guerilla (Barbarians). Spanish economy is balanced.




APRIL 1937

Josef Stalin and Fabio Burch (USSR and Axis Republic dictators) meet in Berlin, and sign an alliance pact. At the same night, they decided to declare war on the Neutrals.
The Red Army starts to move west and enters eastern Poland.
The Axis Army launch a huge attack on Czechoslovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and Servia. The city of Prague (Czechoslovakia) surrenders after fighting for one week.
Under the terms of Neutral-Allies alliance pact, the Allies declare war on the Axis.
Under the terms of their pact with the Allies, the French declare war on the Axis.
Surprisingly, neither the Allies nor the French declared war on Soviet Union.
Allies Air Force concentrates to defend London, the Allies capital.
Axis Army advances both weast and east, leaving Germany and Italy almost undefended. All units concentrate on attacking enemy cities.
Bratislava (Czechoslovakia), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Warsaw (Poland) easily fall under Axis power.
There´s a huge battle between the Axis and the Neutrals in Belgrade (Servia), with many losses for both sides. 7 Panzer units were lost by the Axis, and 10 units, including Partisans, Musketeers and Cavalrys were lost by the Neutrals. But the Axis has taken the city.
The city of Naum (Montenegro) was bombed and taken by the Axis. It was a classical Blitzkrieg attack. The first one in this war.
Axis Naval units coming from Italy bomb Tirana (Albania), and leave it defenseless. The german Panzers took the city.
The French forces meet the Axis forces into Axis lands. Axis Panzers defeat the french and start to walk into France.
The Axis Army breaks the borders of Belgium, avoiding the strongest part of the Maginot Line, and attacks France. This unexpected strategy led to one of the Axis greatest victories: the taking of Paris (France).
After the fall of Paris, the French defenses have weakened. Also French economy is in ruins, because the country has no capital anymore. Strasbourg (France) was taken.
St.Nazaire (France) was taken by the Axis. This city is a very important strategical point for the Axis Republic, because it is a coastal city, with access to the Atlantic sea. St.Nazaire is located just a few swuares away from the Spanish north coast, which allows the Axis Air Force to help fascist dictator Francisco Franco defeating the barbarians in Spain.
Cherbourg, Vichy and Marseilles (France) were bombed and taken by the Axis.
The city of Oslo (Norway) falls under the Axis power after a great battle.
Axis Armor units led by general Rommel "The desert Fox", departed from italian colonies in Libia. They will attack the Allies colony of Egypt.
Axis Panzer units now occupy Poland, Moldova, Romania, Albania and France. Next turn they will launch a final offensive on all cities located in those territories.
The Axis started a new sea strategy: to surround the USA coast with submarines, and avoid that the Allies send troops from America to Europe.
The Allies Navy defeat many Axis submarines near London and in the Atlantic Ocean.
Allies army in Trans-Jordania and Palestine rush to defend Egypt.
The Allies navy started to rush to the british islands, leaving the Atlantic ocean to the Axis submarines.
The Neutral army is moving it´s units to Romania. Maybe they believe that concentrated counter-attack can defeat the Axis.
Neutral counter-attack near Danzig (Poland) defeated 9 Axis Panzer units. The city is not under siege anymore!
The barbarian guerilla in Spain takes Vigo (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal) and Madrid (Spain).
Allies air raids destroyed many Axis units in north France.
The French Army is moving east and truing to close the French borders with Germany.
The French Partisans enter the fortifications near Dunkirk. They will try to stop Axis advance in Normandia (northwest France).

Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Montenegro, Servia, Croatia, Denmark, Belgium and Luxembourg have joined the Axis.





JUNE 1937

Bucharest (Romania), Shkoder (Albania) and Danzig (Poland) were taken by the Axis.
The people of Llubliana is tired of living in a weak and poor country. Fascist Party of Slovenia took the power in the city. It is said that Axis diplomats gave weapons to the insurgents. But the truth is that Llubliana joined the Axis side.
The Fascist Party of Poland took power in Krakow. The city joined the Axis Republic.
The city of Kishinev (Moldova) was attacked by the Soviet troops. The Red Army left the city defenseless. Then, the Axis Army entered the town. The Soviet commanders are quite frustrated because the city did not fall under Soviet power. But at least the Neutrals were defeated in the entire Eastern Europe, and do not put the USSR borders in danger anymore.
The Axis Army and the Red Army meet all along the eastern borders of Poland, Romania, Moldova and Finland.
Axis airplanes launch a great air attack on London, but fail. The Axis Air force suffered many losses due to Allies fierce resistence.
Axis Panzers disembark in Norway and start to advance to the north. Norwegian city of Bergen is under siege.
The Allies counter-attacked Axis troops in Africa, destroying most of the Axis Africa Korps. The Axis cities of Cyrene, Tripoli and Tobruk (all of them, in Libia) are barely defended with one riflemen each.
The Spanish declare war on the Neutrals. The main battles between the Spanish and the Neutral armies will probably be in Africa. But those battles are not to happen right now, because none of the two nations has any conditions to wage war. The Spanish are too busy trying to capture Vigo, Lisbon and Madrid from the barbarians. The Neutrals are trying to resist Axis offensive in Europe, and have no money to build a decent army in Africa at this moment.
Neutral army almost disappeared from Europe.
The French are surrounded in the city of Dunkirk. The Allies navy started to evacuate civilians from the last two French cities in France, while Axis troops siege both of them.
Soviet troops rush from the Eastern Europe to the Middle East - Stalin must be planning to take as much Neutral cities as possible, before the Axis arrives in Asia.
The Red Army enter Afeghanistan.
The French rush-build units to defend Damascus (Syria) and Beirut (Lebanon). French troops fortify near the borders of Turkey.
Turk Militias started to move outside Turk cities. King Inonu must be suspicious about the French intentions. Or maybe he just does not want to leave his soldiers idle.
Neutral partisans fortify in the Bulgaria-Turkey border.
Axis Navy suffered a great defeat in a battle against the Allies near Denmark.
New Axis conscription propaganda: "People who are hopelessly sick should join the Kamikaze teams!" - many Kamikaze units will be ready in the next turn.
The Allies sunk a Spanish Transport full of soldiers near Gibraltar.
The Allies Navy sunk an Axis Transport full of Panzers. The Axis plans of invading Norway with a big army were frustrated.

THE CONFERENCE OF TANGIER:
Fabio Burch and Francisco Franco meet in Tangiers (Spanish maroccos), and sign the "Great Pact":
The Axis agrees to pay 2000 gold pieces and help Franco to defeat the barbarians.
The Spanish declare war on the French and the Allies.

THE CONFERENCE OF MOSCOW:
Fabio Burch talks to Josef Stalin, and Stalin joins the "Great Pact", declaring war on the French.
Under the terms of the previouly signed alliance pact between the Axis Republic and the Soviet Union, the Red Army can walk through Axis territory, so they can reach France. But Fabio´s main idea is that the Soviets should fight the French in Asia and Africa.

Romania, Albania, Poland, Moldova, Macedonia, Boznia-Herzegovine, Bulgaria and Slovenia joined the Axis.

AUGUST 1937

Axis units that were involved in the battles of Eastern Europe start to move south. They will assault Greece.
The Axis Air Force bombed London. Winston Churchill had to hide into his bunker. It was a true rain of Kamikazes.
War in Africa: Axis new Panzer units surround Alexandria (Egypt). The Allies have this city very well garrisoned.
The main Axis naval units were sunk by Allies Navy.
Axis advances in scandinavia have stopped. Axis forces in that region can barely defend Oslo. Axis Army in Norway is exhausted and has no conditions to go ahead. Things in Norway and Sweden came to a stalemate.
The Spanish situation is also a stalemate. The Axis can not send any help right now, and the Spanish have no conditions to launch a decent offensive on the barbarians at this moment.
The Allies Navy bombed Sardinia (Italy) leaving the city defenseless. However, the Allies Army is too far away from the city and can not invade it. The italian island will be safe for a few turns.



OCTOBER 1937

Albanian soldiers invade Greece and take Athens (allies). The balcans now belong to the Axis.
The last surviving Panzer unit in Norway launch a desparate attack on Bergen (Norway), and, surprisingly, wins the battle!
King Inonu refuses alliance proposal from the Axis. The aggressive words of Inonu made Fabio suspicious of turk intentions. The troops in Albania rush to Bulgaria, just in case.
Axis attack on Alexandria (Egypt) was a shameful failure.
Allies Navy bomb and destroy the last units of the Axis Army in Norway. Only one damaged Panzer unit remained.
The Axis Science Academy wrote a book - "Advanced Flight - in 10 lessons" - and gave it to the Spanish scientists, as a gift for long-term friendship.

GREAT BATTLE:
Many fascist nationalists from Netherlands gave their lives in a great Kamikaze attack on London. The city garrison was completely destroyed. After the Kamikaze raids, 3 Panzer units from France disembarked in England.
LONDON FALLS UNDER THE POWER OF THE AXIS!!!
The invasion of the british islands have started.

Greece and Norway joined the Axis.




DECEMBER 1937

The Axis and the Allies started a bloodbath in London. Both forces are exhausted. The Allies have an almost unlimited number of units, and the Axis is sending reinforcements to the city at all costs.
Axis troops in Eastern Europe leave Poland, Romania and Czechoslovakia. Those troops are starting the long way back to Western Europe. They must go to the Netherlands and then a Transport will take them to England. Troops in Moldova could not be taken to Europe because the city of Kishinev could not yet build it´s own defenses. Troops in Bulgaria will not be moved. There´s a high risk that the Turks might join the Allies and the French.
The Red Army stronger units are moving south. They will attack Afeghanistan and India.
The Neutrals launched an attack on Tblisi (Georgia, USSR), with 3 horsemen units. The attack was a failure. The horsemen had only swords and did not stand a chance against the soviet armors.
Neutral queen Wilhelmina came from a sahara desert oasis dressed in a sexy "I dream of Jeannie" fashion. She arrived in Tripoli. Fabio was in Tripoli, coordinating war activities. They talked, and the war between the Axis and the Neutrals ended. A peace treaty was signed.
The Allies Air Force defeated the Axis Air Force near London and Southampton (England).
The Allies air force completely destroyed the garrison of Cherbourg (France)
Allies Navy sunk a few more Axis submarines in the Atlantic.



FEBRUARY 1938

The Axis brutally destroyed the French city of Dunkirk. Then, some Axis engineers rebuilded it. Dunkirk is an Axis city. There are no more French cities in France.
The Red Army started to enter through Axis borders. This will help Axis land defense. And will also make it possible to the Soviet Union to fight the French in Africa and, maybe, fight the Allies in the future.
The Axis Army attacked Southampton (England), where most of the Allies Air Force was ready to bomb Germany and France. The Axis Panzers destroyed all airplanes before they could leave the ground, and Southampton was taken.
The Allies have defeated some units of Irish nationalist guerilla. Fabio Burch will "support all nationalistic movements, including the irish one" (speech in Rome).
The Allies liberate London.
The Allies developed ADVANCED FLIGHT.

Wales and France joined the Axis.




APRIL 1938

The Soviet Navy have reached the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, but then, they retreated back to the Black Sea once again.
All Axis troops in England rush to Southampton - not to defend it, but because the Panzers would be destroyed if they remained outside the city. Axis invading forces in England are exhausted, and there´s no way Fabio can send any reinforcements. Axis Republic is economically broken.
Axis Panzer units fail while trying to take Alexandria (Egypt).
The Allies Air Force bomb Axis Army in Sothampton.
Allies vessels from Gibraltar sunk the entire Axis Navy in the Mediterranean. They also sunk one Spanish Transport.
The French bombed Spanish Militia in the Atlantic coast of Spain. The French also defeated the Spanish in a battl near Tangiers.
Spanish troops had to retreat from the French Maroccos.
The French attacks and the destruction of some Spanish units left Franco in a difficult situation. His fascist army is being bombed by the French navy and attacked by the barbarian forces.
The Neutrals launch a horsemen attack on Turk riflemen near Kars (Turkey).
The Turks defeated the Neutrals near Kars (Turkey) and push Neutral borders 2 squares to the east.
The Turk Army dangerously approaches the Soviet Union borders.
The Turks defeated the Neutrals in several battles near Iraq.
The hostilities between the Soviets and the Neutrals started in Afeghanistan.



JUNE 1938

The Red Army started to surround small Neutral fortifications. The Red Army also attacked two Neutral fortifications in Afeghanistan, and were defeated.
The Axis Army march into London.
Burch and Stalin meet again in Bucharest (Romania). Fabio asked for some help against the Allies, and proposed to divide Turkey between USSR and the Axis. But Stalin said his war against the Neutrals was not going well, and he could not declare war on the Turks.
Dictator Fabio Burch of the Axis refuses to sign an alliance pact with the Turks. King Inonu is looking for an ally in his war against the Neutrals.
Dictator Burch and Queen Wilhelmina meet at Stockholm (Sweden). Wilhelmina was once again dressed like a sexy arabian dancer. The Neutral queen agreed to declare war on the French. She will fight Petain´s army in Africa and Asia. Fabio gave her 400 gold pieces, so she can buy some weapons.
Franco and Burch meet at Bordeaux (France). The Axis dictator gave a book - "Guerilla: how to make it" - to his friend. Franco was supposed to give something in exchange, and Fabio asked him for money. But the spanish pockets are empty too.
The Allies bombed London and the city is undefended.
The Allies Navy bombed Valencia (Spain), and the city is almost undefended against barbarian attacks!
The French attacked Raasht (Iran), but the Neutrals Army was too strong and won the battle.
The Neutrals attacked the french city of Casablanca (Maroccos) but failed.



AUGUST 1938

The Axis Army advances north into the british islands. The siege of Manchester (England) has begun.
There are no Allies troops in Eastern Europe anymore. Most of the Axis forces in Eastern Europe started to move west. They will cross the entire Europe through Germany and France, and then, arrive in Marseilles (France), where they will regroup to enter Spain, fight the guerilla and attack the Allies city of Gibraltar (Spain).
The Neutrals attacked the French city of Casablanca (Maroccos).
Neutral troops from Fezzan (Libian desert), Thebes (Egyptian desert) and Oasis (Algerian desert) started to move north.
The Allies bombed Axis troops near Manchester, killing almost the entire Axis Army in England.
The Allies bombed Valencia and the Axis air base in the island of Cozumel (near Spain). Fabio´s plans of bombing Gibraltar were frustrated.

- The complicated art of diplomacy:
The Neutrals are allied with the Allies. The Allies are allied with the French. The French are at war against the Neutrals.
The Neutrals are at peace with the Axis. The Axis is at war against the French and the Allies.
The Soviets are allied with the Axis, at war against the Neutrals and the French, but they keep the peace with the Allies.
The Turks are at war against the Neutrals, but keeping peace with the Axis, Allies, French and Soviets.

- There are some pacts:
The Anti-Axis pact: French Republic and Allies Republic.
The Great Pact: Soviet Union, Axis Republic and the Kingdom of Spain.
The Neutral Empire is part of the two pacts at the same time: Friends with the Allies and with the Axis at the same time.
The Turks are in a very bad situation. King Inonu refuses to sign the Great Pact with the Axis, because it would force him to stop the war against the Neutrals, and refuses to ally with the French because it would force him to declare war on the Axis. At the same time, the Neutral defeats are forcing the Soviet Union and the Axis to enter the war.
The Great Pact seems to be winning the war, but Soviet, Spanish and Axis resources are exhausted, while the Allies are always receiving money and troops from the United States of America. The stalemate in England proves that Axis attacking power has decreased a lot since the beginning of the war. The Spanish Army is too weak to do more than surviving. And the Soviet Army is very strong on land defense, but fails while trying to attack foreign countries.


OCTOBER 1938

The surviving Axis troops near Manchester retreated to London.
The Axis Army enters Spain. The siege of Saragosa was lifted by Axis troops and the barbarian partisans around Barcelona were killed.
The Neutrals defeated the Turks near Raasht.
The Turks attacked Raasht (Iran), destroying the entire city garrison.
The Turk Army entered Iran.
The French Army entered Iraq (they can cross the country, under the terms of an alliance pact with the Allies). No doubt the French are going right to Iran.
Both the Turks and the Neutrals seem to be exhausted. The Turks are more powerful and have better weapons, but the Neutrals have the biggest number of soldiers, people and weapons.
The city of Raasht is almost destroyed. Axis dictator Burch feels tempted to help the Neutrals, call for Soviet help and split Turkey between Neutral, Axis and Soviet occupation areas.

DECEMBER 1938

The Red Army started to move strangely in Eastern Europe. While some Soviet troops help the Axis defending Moldova, other units are leaving Poland.
Even the bloodbath in the Middle East caused by the Turk-Neutral War did not change anything for the Soviets: They keep a quiet neutrality, and the many units located in Georgia and Armenia do not seem to be moving anywhere.
Almost all of Axis Panzer units have already entered Spain. The barbarians were defeated in the eastern side of Spain, and Axis troops are a few kilometers away from Madrid.
The Axis Air Force and Axis Navy were completely defeated in the Mediterranean Sea. Italy and Libia are barely defended by weak land units, while the Allies Navy dominates the sea and bombs the coastal cities. The situation in the Mediterranean is desperate for both sides. While the Axis has no naval units in that sea, the Allies are under risk of losing the city of Gibraltar (Spain). If the Allies lose that city, there will be no aerial bridge between the british islands and the colonies in Africa. Also, without the Allies´ presence in Spain, the Spanish will be free to build a larger navy and, maybe, attack the Allies by sea. And there´s also the risk that the Axis may take Lisbon (Portugal) and Gibraltar, which would make impossible for the Allies to send reinforcements to Africa and Asia. If the Allies lose Gibraltar, the Spanish would feel free to sail across the Mediterranean Sea, and attack the french colonies in Africa.
The Spanish have suffered many defeats against the Allies, and this has surely lowered Spanish conditions of waging war agains the barbarians and the French. But there are enough Spanish troops near Gibraltar, and Franco could launch an attack at any moment. Meanwhile, the French Navy and the Allies Navy often bomb barbarians, helping the Spanish in an undirect way. The French are attacking Tangiers (Spanish Maroccos) and sometimes they almost defeat the Spanish. The Allies are strongly defended in Gibraltar, and the Axis will have to attack the city by land, as it has no air units in western Europe anymore. The things in the Mediterranean are worst than a stalemate - it´s more like a farwest duel, where anyone can shoot first and kill the other one.
The Spanish deplyed their first Panzer unit and defeated the barbarians near Seville.
The Allies capital moved to Suez (Egypt). This African british colony is a safe place for the Allies government. Axis troos in Africa are very weak.
The Allies and the French cancelled their alliance pact.
The Turks attemped to take Baku, but suffered a great defeat.



FEBRUARY 1939

The Red Army entered Poland and Czechoslovakia.
The Axis Army advances through Spain. The entire barbarian defense in Madrid (Spain) was destroyed. Vigo (Spain) is surrounded by Axis troops. The fascists now controle the entire eastern half of Spain.
The Axis troops in England attacked Manchester.
The Axis Air Force bombed the french city of Tunis (Tunisia).
The Neutral Army defeated the Turks near Kars (Turkey).
The Allies bombed Southampton, destroyed the entire Axis attacking forces near Manchester, and weakened the garrison of London.




APRIL 1939

The Axis government started a new policy in Eastern Europe: The after-war rebuilding. Many cities in that region were ordered to produce Engineers.
The Axis Army reached western Spain, and did a first successful attack on the Allies city of Gibraltar (Spain).
The Axis took Lisbon (Portugal) and Vigo (Spain).
The Allies sunk an Axis submarine near Gibraltar and defeated the attacking forces that were sieging the city.
The Neutrals resisted a Turk assault in Raasht (Iran).
The French try a last desperate counter-attack in Tunisia, but fail.

Portugal joined the Axis.




JUNE 1939

The Axis Army entered the french city of Tunis (Tunisia). There was a big welcome party to the new regime. France´s decay was forcing this city to sell all of it´s improvements.
The Allies Navy constantly bombs some Axis coastal cities and sink many submarines in the Atlantic. Now the Axis Navy started to leave the Atlantic Sea and retreat to Europe.
Petain and Burch meet at Tunis. The Axis and the French signed a peace treaty.
The Turks and the French declared war on each other.

Tunisia joined the Axis.



AUGUST 1939

The Axis destroyed the Allies city of Gibraltar (Spain). Allies presence in Spain exists no more. And the bridge between the british islands and the british african colonies was destroyed.
The Turks refused to join the Axis and declare war on the Allies. Axis troops in Bulgaria started to move.
The French accepted the Axis proposal of war against the Allies, but Petain asked Fabio for some money, which th Axis dictator did not have. The French will remain neutral in the Axis-Allies war.
The Neutrals stole the secret of Flight from the Soviets.
The French defeated the Spanish near Tangiers (Spanish Maroccos), and destroyed 2 Neutral units near Kars (Turkey).
The Turks took the Neutral city of Baku (Azherbaijan).

Azherbaijan joined the United Kingdom of Turkey, Chipre and Azherbaijan.




OCTOBER 1939

80% of the Axis Army in England was destroyed while trying to take Manchester.
Francisco Franco requested Axis help in his war against the French. The Neutrals did call for som help too. The Axis declared war on the French.
The war between the French and the Axis was the quickest war in history. Just one day after the declaration of war, the Axis Army conquered Algiers (Algeria), and the French surrendered. The peace treaty was signed exactly two days after the declaration of war!
The French troops in Argelia and Tunisia started to leave those territories.
The Axis Army in Spain regrouped in Vigo (Spain), where all those units will embark on Transport ships. They must reach England before the Allies can destroy all Axis forces in the british islands.
The Spanish sunk an Allies submarine in the Mediterranean and defeated the French troops in the western side of Argelia.
The Allies sunk one Axis submarine, destroyed the Axis attacking forces near Alexandria (Egypt) and launched an unsuccessful assault on Southampton (England).

The Red Army completely destroyed the Neutral cities of Termez and Almaty (Afeghanistan).
The Axis Air Force bombed Alexandria (Egypt). The city was taken by Axis exhausted soldiers coming from Libia. The Pyramids are now a monument to Fascism!

The Axis troops on way to England had to disembark in France. The Atlantic Sea is not safe for any Axis vessel.

The Red Army in deep into Afeghanistan, and Neutral troops started to form defense lines in the borders and around the cities.

The first problems in the Great Pact started to show up: The Neutrals asked the Axis to declare war on the Soviets. Fabio refused to declare war on his friends.
The French defeated the Turks near Damascus (Syria).
Winston Churchill sent and emissary to London. The emissary met the mayor and said: "This city will be ours!".

Wales joined the Allies.



AUGUST 1940

The Red Army reached most of the Neutral cities in Afeghanistan. A huge attack is being prepared.
The Axis Army was defeated while trying to take Manchester (England).
The Allies bombed Cherbourg (France).
The Turk Air Force attacked the French city of Beirut (Lebanon). The French were once a powerful nation. They are currently making every effort to survive this war against the Neutrals and the Turks (the two weakest civilizations in the world).



OCTOBER 1940

The Axis Army from Spain finally disembarked in England. They had to walk by land and reach Cherbourg, in north France. The city was being bombed and the troops had to wait until a Transport ship was builded. The Allies Air Force sunk the first Transport, but the second one transported the army to the british islands.
The Axis attack on England was so fast, so unexpected, that the Allies forces had no conditions to stop it. Southampton and Manchester were conquered, and Allies forces near London were destroyed.
The Allies were defeated while trying to liberate Alexandria (Egypt).
The Allies forces in England just stayed where they were, in the middle of the roads. Maybe Winston Churchill still does not know what to do about the fascist quick attack that destroyed England.

Wales joined the Axis.




DECEMBER 1940

London celebrates the "We Love the Consul" Day. The british under Axis rule seems to be very happy with the new regime.
The Axis Army reached Newcastle (England).
The Afrika Korps (Axis Army of Africa) advanced to Suez. But the Neutrals are still allied with the Allies. The Neutral Cavalry fortifyed near Suez, making the Axis´ units movement more difficult.
The Neutrals defeated the French near Casablanca (Maroccos) and the Turks near Raasht (Iran).
The Allies capital moved to Suez (Egypt). Winston Churchill will defend the city (which is under attack by Axis forces).
The Allies defeated the Axis Army near Newcastle (England). All surviving Axis forces will have to retreat to Manchester.
The French bombed Chipre (Turk city in the island of Chipre, near Turkey), and attacked Antioch (Turkey).

The Axis Army in England entered the city of Manchester. All units are seriously damaged and without out of fighting conditions.

The Soviets declared war on the Turks. It´s possible that the Soviets or the Neutrals ask the Axis to attack the Turks.
The Red Army conquered the Neutral cities of Dukamb (Afeghanistan) and destroyed Rysglit (Afeghanistan).
Axis forces from all Europe embarked in Cherbourg (France), and then, disembarked in England. This is the biggest land attack in history. The Allies were defeated in Newcastle (England).
The Neutral Army in Egypt did not move, and the Neutrals did not join the Allies in their war against the Axis. The city of Suez was attacked and taken by the Axis.

JUNE 1941

The Red Army took the Neutral cities of Taskant and Saragyt (Afeghanistan).
The Axis Army attacked Edinburgh (Scotland), but failed. Most of the Axis units in England were lost in this frustrated assault.
The French took the Neutral city of Daear (Mauritania).
The Spanish Army reached Czechoslovakia. The diplomatic situation between the Spanish and the Soviets can change at any moment.




AUGUST 1941

The Allies Air Force bombed Newcastle, Manchester and Southampton (England). The Allies dominate the skies and the seas. But they have no land forces to take the cities they bomb!




OCTOBER 1941

The Red Army conquered the turk city of Baku (Azherbaijan).
The Soviet Navy bombed Istambul (Turkey).
Under the terms of alliance pact with the Soviet Union and the Neutral Kingdom, the Axis declares war on the Turks.
The turk cities of Istambul and Izmir (Turkey) were invaded by the Axis. The Kingdom of Turkey had it´s size reduced to the half after one month of war.
The Spanish Army reached the borders of Soviet Union. Franco and Stalin meet in Warsaw (Poland). But the discussion between the far-right general and the leftist dictator led to a fight. The Spanish and the Soviets declared war on each other.
The Allies were defeated while trying to take Suez (Egypt). The Allies Air Force destroyed the entire Axis Army in England, Scotland and Ireland.

The Fascist Party of Turkey took power in Antioch. The city joined the huge Axis Republic. The insurgents´ leader was an Axis diplomat!
The turk capital, Ankara (Turkey) was taken by Axis forces. The Red Army was almost reaching the city, but the Axis came first.
The Allies Navy and Air Force bombed Dunkirk (France), Manchester (England), leaving those cities almost undefended.

The Allies city of Skapa Flow (extreme north of Scotland) was taken by fascist Norwegian soldiers!
The Turks defeated the Red Army in Batum, but were unable to take the city.

The new situation is not good for the Soviet Union. Now, the Spanish can walk through Axis territory and attack the Soviet Union. But the Red Army can not even get near the Axis borders.

The Axis Army entered Palestine and took the Allies city of Jerusalem (Palestine).

The war between Neutrals, Turks and Soviets (each one against all others) continues. Battles are happening all over Iran, Iraq, Afeghanistan, Turkey and Kazakhistan.





JUNE 1943

The Allies city of Amman (Transjordania) was destroyed by the Axis.
Axis units from Europe and Soviet units from USSR are constantly having blocking each other in Iraq and Turkey.
The Spanish were rewarded for remaining loyal to the Axis: Fabio gave Franco a book: "Rocketry, how to do it".
The Turks have been completely defeated, and the Turk Empire now existis only in the small island of Chipre.
There are no more turk units in Asia. The French ARmy in Siria and Lebanon started to move outside the towns. But the French can not do anything more than blocking the way of Axis and Soviet units on way to Iraq and Iran.
The war between the Neutrals and the Soviet Union goes on in Asia, with many losses for both sides. The Turks are no longer participating in those battles, because they are completely isolated in their tiny Mediterranean island.
If the Turks try to disembark in continental Asia, they will have to meet the Axis Army, or the French Army.





AUGUST 1943

The Red Army destroyed the Neutral city of Aschabad (Kazakhistan).
Axis attacking forces met in the Middle East. The forces that came from Bulgaria and defeated the Turks reached Iraq. Other Axis forces, the ones from Libia, Tunisia and Egypt, that fought in Palestine and Transjordania, have reached Iraq too. Neutral forces from Mecca (Saudi Arabia) also reached Iraq. All those armies started the siege of Baghdad (Allies city, Iraq). And the Red ARmy is coming from the East to help destroying the Allies.
The Axis after-war rebuilding program is working fine in Europe, British islands and Africa. It will soon be implemented in the middle east.
The Allies attacked Axis cities in the British Islands. The Allies forces came from America!
The Allies counter-attacked in Iraq, and defeated three Axis Panzer units.


Infraestructure:
THE FRENCH have almost no infraesctructure. Maroccos, Siria and Lebanon are arid regions and there´s almost no money to build anything in those places.
THE TURKS have only one city, and there´s no infraestructure around ir.
THE NEUTRALS have almost no infraestructure in their vast empire.
THE AXIS is recovering it´s lands from war destruction. Europe, Britain and Africa have an average level of infraestructure.
THE SOVIETS have the greatest level of infraestructure in the world. The USSR was never touched by war, and the cities just taken in Afeghanistan and Iran are the only ones that have no infraestructure.
THE ALLIES have a great level of infraestucture in the USA, but a poor one in their colonies in the middle east.
THE SPANISH have an average level of infraestructure, but can not compete with the Axis or the Soviets.

The Red Army attacked Damascus (French, Siria) and Tehran (Neutral, Iran).
The Axis Army invaded Baghdad (Allies city in Iraq).
The Axis and the Turks signed a cease fire.
The Spanish bombed the french city of Casablanca (Maroccos). Casablanca´s defenses were completely destroyed by the Spanish Air Force. The Neutral Army invaded this defenseless city.
The Neutrals counter-attacked Soviet forces in Iran, Afeghanistan and India, destroying many of them.
The French Partisans defeated the Neutral forces and liberated Casablanca. The French also attacked the spanish city of Tangirs (Spanish maroccos), and defeated the Red Army in Lebanon.

The Red Army attacked Tehran (Neutral city in Iran).
The Axis ARmy destroyed the Allies city of Shakalah (Transjordania).
Fabio Burch, dictator of the Axis, decided to give the secrets of ROCKETRY, MOBILE WARFARE and ADVANCED FLIGHT to the Neutrals, so they can fight the Soviet Union, in Asia.

Axis scientists traveled to Afeghanistan and gave the Neutrals many technologies. The plan is that the Neutrals become capable of fighting the Red Army, in Asia and Africa, and also from Iceland. This will keep the Soviets busy while the Axis Army rebuilds itself after so many years of war.

The Axis government in Finland gave the Neutrals one Fighter unit. The unit was sent to Sweden. This will be the Neutral swedish air defense.

The Axis Navy stopped Red Navy units that were going to bomb the Neutral city of Stockholm. The peace trety between the Axis and the Soviets is in danger.

The Soviet Air Force attacked some Neutral cities. But the Neutral Air Force defeated the communists in all those battles.
The Axis dictator Fabio decided to give some economic help to the turks. New trade routes with the Island of Chipre will be stabilished.

The Soviet Army started to move from Eastern Europe to the northwest part of Russia.
The Axis Army opened the gates of Finland to the Neutrals.
The Neutral Army entered Finland.




APRIL 1950

The Axis High Academy of Science announced the discovery of NUCLEAR FISSION.
The Axis dictator made a speech in Berlin. He said: "We could build nuclear weapons right now, if we wanted. But I do not want to see the world becoming a big nuclear desert. We want to conquer the world! Not to destroy it!".




JUNE 1950

The Soviet Navy could not attack the Neutral panzers in Finland because the Soviet vessels were blocked by Axis Navy units.
The Neutral Army was seen near Helsinki (Finland). The invasion of Russia by Neutrals is about to start.
The Neutrals attacked Krasnodovsk (Soviet, Kazakhistan).
The Neutrals sunk one Soviet destroyer near Sweden.



AUGUST 1950

The Red Army counter-attacked in Kazakhistan, but did not destroy all Neutral units.
The Axis Army started to scort Neutral units in Finland.




OCTOBER 1950

The Red Army the the Neutral Army fought in Finland. One Neutral panzer unit was destroyed, but the two other Neutral units passed through the battlefield and reached the middle of Finland.




DECEMBER 1950

The Soviets sent some reinforcements to Leningrad. The city is getting ready to resist Neutral offensive.
The Soviet city of Brest (Belarus) was shaked by civil unrest. People decided that this town shoul join the Axis. The Axis Republic and the Soviet Union did not declare war, and the city just changed it´s national flag peacefully.




FEBRUARY 1951

THE SOVIET UNION ATTACKS THE AXIS CITY OF POLATSK (Belarus).

The Axis Army of Poland entered Ukraine and took the city of Kiev.

The Neutrals attacked the soviet city of Murmansk (extreme north of Russia).

The Red Army liberated Smolensk.
The Soviets are winning the war in north Russia.
The Axis are winning the war in Ukraine and south Russia.
The Spanish sent some troops to Russia but are not making a big difference.
The Neutrals are lauching some attacks on Murmansk and Leningrad. Leningrad mey be isolated in the next turn, because of Axis activity in Finland. Then, the Neutrals will have a chance of taking the city.

Both Fabio Burch and Josef Stalin were too scared of each other´s power. They decided to sign a cease fire.

The Axis Army is not that good. The attack on Moscow and Sebastopol (Russia), was a disaster.
The Spanish are sending heavy reinforcements through Germany.




APRIL 1953

The soviet city of Sebastopol was taken by the Axis.
The Spanish Army reinforcements are arriving in Romania.

JUNE 1953

The Red Army launched an offensive in Russia, Iran and Finland. But their forces are so much weakened, this offensive looked more lika and desperate cry for mercy.
The soviet city of Kharkov (Russia) was taken by the Axis.
Moscow suffered a great attack by Axis forces, but resisted.




AUGUST 1953

The Axis and the Soviet forces are exhausted, and did almost nothing.
The Red Army is now composed, basically, of Riflemen units. Those units formed a pathetic border defensive line in the line between asian and european USSR.
The Red Army sent a small sttacking force to Murmansk.
The Axis Army moved east and pushed the russian borders, but did not face any resistance on their way.
The Spanish are economically ruined, and could not do anything at this moment.
The Neutral Army advanced south from Finland and reached the lands around Leningrad (Russia). There, the Neutral and the Soviet troops saw each other. Josef Stalin and Wilhelmina signed a cease fire and a peace treaty.




OCTOBER 1953

The Soviets liberated Kharkov (Russia). The city is almost completely in ruins.
The Axis took Moscow (Russia) from the SOviets.
The Neutral Navy bombed the turk Island of Chipre.




DECEMBER 1953

The Red Army took Kursk (Russia).
The soviet city of Kharkov crumbled and disappeared under the fire of Axis troops.




FEBRUARY 1954

The Red Army counter-attacked Axis forces all over Russia. But those sparse assaults did not liberate any city.
The Axis liberated Kursk (Russia).
Axis reinforcements in Russia! New panzer divisions units were raised in Germany, France, Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Stonia, Belarus, Finland, fascist Russia, Moldova, Axis Spain, England, Scotland, Italy and Albania. All new units started to move east and formed a giant "walking wall" that goes from Leningrad (Artic sea coast) to Odessa (black sea coast).
New Spanish troops arrived in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus!!!

-- THE WAR --
The Axis Army completely dominated some regions that were formerly part of the Soviet Union. The after-war rebuilding programs already started in Belarus, Latvia, Stonia, Lithuania, in the western part of Ukraine and in the northwest part of Russia. The Engineers units can move freely build roads, irrigation and - the most important - clean up nuclear pollution (from the nuclear bombs thrown in the beginning of the war). Those regions are free of battles, and there´s no risk of soviet invasion in those places.
The Red Army was greatly reduced in the battles of Belarus and Ukraine. The Soviets sent their strongest units to Ukraine when the fascist forces entered this country, and, after the defeat in Ukraine, the soviets were left with more than 130 Riflemen units, but almost no strong attacking forces.
The truth is that, when Josef Stalin decided to attack the fascist city of Polatsk (Belarus), invade Moldova and surround Warsaw (Poland), he knew he would be starting a total war against the Axis. But he counted on Axis defensive weakness. He also tought that the Neutrals would be out of this war and that the Spanish would have no conditions to fight, because Spain is so far away from Russia. He was completely wrong about all those things.
First, the Axis Army was really weak on defense. But, after the Red Army advances in Poland, Belarus and Moldova, the Axis attacking forces did a great counter-attack, destroyed the soviet units in Axis territory and entered Russia and Ukraine.
Second, the Neutrals received many military units from the Axis. The Neutrals did not remain out of the war and Neutral troops from Sweden invaded Russia. The Neutral forces in Afeghanistan also fought the Soviets and almost invaded Kazakhistan, forcing Stalin to send some units to Asia. Those units were needed in Eastern Europe, but he could not lose his lands in Middle East and Asia.
Third, the Spanish were really too far away from Russia. But, with his alliance pact with the Axis, General Franco could send his units through German, French and Czechoslovak railways, reaching Ukraine quickly.
The Soviet Union was basically composed of three distinct kinds of cities: The rich and industrialized cities, those which holded Soviet economy. The poor cities that received help from the rich ones. And the isolated cities, that caused almost no costs to the national treasury, but had almost no income too.
The most industrialized regions of USSR were Ukraine, the western part of Russia, the northwest part of Russia and the southwest part of USSR, formed by some sities in Russia, Georgia and Armenia.
The rich russian northwest was invaded by the Axis and the Neutrals. Ukraine and the western part of Russia were dominated by the Axis. The only rich part of USSR that is still free of foreign invasion forces is the southwest part of Russia, Georgia and Armenia. However, the Soviet economy is broken. The total income is somthing around 250 gold pieces, while the total costs are about 620 gold pieces. The country has no conditions to build units and can not even keep the city improvements.
The Soviet Navy is still strong, but has no conditions to invade the Mediterranean sea, or the Atlantic sea, because the Spanish Navy and Air Force completely dominated the waters and skies of western Europe.
The Soviet Air Force is completely destroyed. But the few surviving units, located in Iran, sometimes bomb Axis possessions in Iraq.
The Soviet Union is just trying to survive. All Red Army movements have Axis attacking units as targets. Stalin is trying to avoid further fascist advances in Russia.
The Fascist side is clearly winning the war. The Axis Army dominated vast amounts of land. Axis defensive forces are keeping Axis Republic and Spain safe from any invasion force, while air and sea defenses are the responsability of the Spanish.
The Neutrals signed a peace treaty with the Soviet Union, but still keep some units in northwest Russia for future conquests.
The Turks are too weak to fight they have only one unit, a riflemen, that defends the city of Chipre). They are in Axis side anyway.




APRIL 1954

The Red Army counter-attacked in Moscow, but was defeated by Axis defensive forces.
The soviet city of Rostov (Russia) was surprised by nuclear explosion. The city was taken by the Axis.
The Axis Army in Iran and Iraq started the greatest offensive in history, advancing to the north, right to Armenia. The troops surrounded the soviet cities of Kars, Baku and Batum.




JUNE 1954

The Soviets liberated Rostov (Russia).
Voronezh, Stalingrad, Kars, Baku, Maikop and Batum were taken by the Axis.
The soviet cities of Grozny (southwest of Russia), Gorky, Kazan, Kuibyshev (northwest Russia) are surrounded by Axis troops.
The Axis Army in Rian reached the Neutral borders in Afeghanistan, surrounding the Soviets!!!
The city of Chipre, in the Island of Chipre became the Turk capital.
The Neutrals declared war on the Soviets again. And attacked soviet troops in Afeghanistan.




AUGUST 1954

The Soviet Union lost some cities to the Axis: Kazan (Russia), Kuibyshev (Russia), Grozny (Russia) and Yakutsk (Russia) were invaded by Axis troops coming from western Russia. Norilsk (extreme north of Russia) was invaded by fascist finns.
The Red Army fought Axis and Neutral forces in Afeghanistan, Iran and Kazakhistan. The Red Army was completely defeated in the middle east. All Societ cities in that region are under risk of invasion by Axis and Neutral forces from the south. There are Axis forces coming from Ukraine across the invaded part of Russia.

JOSEF STALIN SURRENDERED!!!!!!!!
Fabio Burch and Josef Stalin agreed to sign a peace treaty. The meeting in Moscow was almost funny. Fabio entered the room in his best uniform, followed by comissars from all fascist republics of the Axis. Josef Stalin entered the room in hif tan uniform. Stalin seemed tired. He´s been drinking and smoking a lot in those last months. Stalin´s hair was completely white. When the peace treaty was signed, he smiled.
Fabio Burch also talked to queen Wilhelmina of the Neutrals. She told about soviet war atrocities, but, when she talked to Stalin, she signed a cease fire.
The Spanish did not signed peace with the Soviets. But they demanded some technological secrets from the Axis. Fabio refused to give him anything, and Franco decided to end the alliance pact between the Axis and the Spanish. Now, the Spanish can not move through Europe, and can not fight the Soviets anymore.

THE GREAT WAR IS OVER. ALL SOLDIERS WENT HOME. THE DEAD WERE BURIED. THE WOUNDED WERE SENT TO HOSPITALS. THE DEVASTED LANDS MUST BE RECOVERED.

Population: Around 23 million.

The Soviets are poor, weak and their cities are located in bad terrain. The Soviet Union is also isolated from the sea (landlocked).
The Soviet economy is unbalanced, and Stalin will have to sell many city improvements in the future.


** THE FRENCH (Maroccos and Mauritania)
Population: Around 200 thousand.

The French are a very weak african nation now. The two remaining cities (Daear in Mauritania and Casablanca in Maroccos) are located in arid lands.
The French economy is balanced. The small national income is enough to keep the very few improvements of the country.
The French have no Air Force, and no Navy. The French Army is composed by two Riflemen units.
The French will forever remember their glorius days in France, when they did not have to live with sand storms, camels and Spanish hostile neighbours.


** THE TURKS (The Island of Chipre)
Population: Around 60 thousand.

The Turks are now living in the small Island of Chipre. This paradise in the Mediterranean Sea is completely surrounded by Axis vessels, which keeps the island safe from foreign attacks.
The turk economy is completely dependent on the Axis economy. The Axis is the only trade partner of the island.
The Turk economy is balanced, and sometimes, the country receives large donations from the Axis. In the future, the turks will sign an alliance pact with the Axis, and receive nuclear weapons for their arsenal.
The Turk Army is composed by one sole Riflemen unit, which guards the town of Chipre.
The capital is the only city of the country, and people live peacefully in this happy island.


** THE NEUTRALS (Iceland, Afeghanistan, India and two small oasis in the Sahara Desert)
Population: Around 3 million.

The Neutrals have a balanced economy, a fairly strong army, and a decent air force.
Queen Wilhelmina wants to attack the turks and the Soviets, but her way is blocked by friendly Axis troops.
The Neutrals are rebuilding their lands with new technologies given by the Axis, and maybe in the future, the Neutral Empire can be an economic giant.
Queen Wilhelmina will always be grateful for Axis help in the war against the soviets. The only city ever conquered by the Neutrals was Murmansk, in extreme northwest of Russia. In Murmansk, there´s a large statue of Fabio, and Wilhelmina together, signing the declaration of war against the Soveits.


** THE SPANISH (Part of Spain and Spanish Maroccos)
Population: Around 10 million.

The Spanish are under the rule of Francisco Franco, the fascistic general who would betray the Axis.
The Spanish have strong army, air force and navy. The Spanish economy is balanced. In fact, Spain seems like a miniature of the Axis Republic, but with less money, units, people and lands.
The Spanish will forever remember their glorious participation in the invasion and destruction of the Soviet Union. However, they will forever be jealeous of their neighbours´ rich lifestyle. While Axis cities in Spain and Portugal become modern paradises, the Spanish cities can barely keep some improvements and a low luxury tax.
