The History of Humanity-The Lost Stories

Spoiler :

Lincoln: Yeah! WOO! We are getting to the Pacific, if it kills them! ATTACK!!!
*the army advances*

With Lincoln's election as president-for-very-long-time, expansion took a violent turn. Aztec and native settlements were attacked, and thousands were killed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Lincoln: Settlement up and running! Great!

More settlements were founded in the midwest, such as Saskatoon in 1802. Lincoln was extremely excited about such things.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Lincoln: BURN IT DOWN!!! KILL THEM ALL!!!
*the settlement burns, the citizens are brutally murdered*

American expansion came at a heavy cost to those already living, those that resisted were killed. The Aztec government was falling apart, and this would make American victories far easier than if it had bbeen stable.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Lincoln: The next ocean we settle next to will be the Pacific! Nothing will stop me!!!

........

I mean us....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Lincoln: Expansion requires money. START MAKING MONEY!!!
Merchants: Gladly.
Lincoln: Great! You all work for the government now, I, I mean, it, gets all the profits. Also, taxes are raised 300%.

New taxes, and government-operated businesses brought in significant revenue for the government. Lincoln immediately diverted these funds to expand.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

General: President, I beg you to let them live...
Lincoln does not hear, as he is busy slaughtering the prisoners*

Lincoln ordered ruthless campaigns to reach the Pacific and to secure America's southern boarder. He had any who resisted shot on the spot.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Mansa Musa: Please don't destroy Mali!
Lincold: Is Mali in America's current path of destruction , I mean, expansion?
Mansa Musa: No...
Lincold: Then you are safe.

Although Lincoln was extremely brutal towards enemies, he was relatively kind to those he did not want to kill. So, peaceful relations were established with Mali.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Lincoln: We have defeated England? Great. Now for my victory speech...
*he pulls out a huse paper*
Lincoln: Four score and seven years ago.....
*1 day later*
Lincoln:.. In conclusion, I would like to say: KILL ALL ENEMIES! REACH THE PACIFIC! I LIKE CHEESE!!!!!

Lincoln was becoming more and more irrational, he would be fine one minute, then screaming about destruction the next. This unnerved many, even more than Washington's strange facial expressions.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Lincoln: Because you are not in my... I mean our, way; I offer this deal, you can help me... I mean us.
Ragnar: Very well.

Trade deals were signed with thew Vikings, as America wanted greater financial strength to finance its expansion.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Lincoln: WOO!! VICTORY!!! I WIN!!! *he jumps into the Pacific, swims out, and drowns, Roosevelt comes next as president-for-very-long-time*

Spoiler :

Roosevelt: Well, I hope out grat nations can live together in peace and prosparity, for mutual benefit.
Zara Yaqob: Fine with me.
Tokugawa You will have to ask my Mongol overlords.
Kublai Khan: Hmmmm, I see no reason why not! I accept.
*the other leaders exit*
Kublai Khan: I offer this deal, as a sign of our new friendship.
Spoiler :

Roosevelt: Great! I gladly accept!

Diplomacy started to become commonplace under Roosevelt. While Lincoln had been too bloodthirsty, and Washington had been too strange, Roosevelt performed fairly well.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Messanger: Vancouver has been founded sir! We control the entire region!
Roosevelt: Fantastic! We should probabily stop settling now, we need to gain economic stability.

American expansion mostly came to a hault under Roosevelt, who had more long-term plans for America than Lincoln's unsustainable land grab and war.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The army had not recieved word in the leadership changes. They never recieved new orders, so campaigns of annahialation continued.

Roosevelt: Burned?!? This must stop!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Mansa Musa: Is that loonatic gone? I hope to obtain America's protection from Mali's enemies, will you accept?
Roosevelt: Gladly, also; would you consider these trade deals? Strengthened relations through trade can only help all of us, after all.
Mansa Musa: Hmmm... a good deal. I accept.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Saladin: Greetings! May you recieve an empire only slightly less glorious than mine!
Roosevelt: Haha! Clever word play! May you recieve tribute from various empires only slightly less numerous than those that pay the United States!
Saladin: Good one! Would you agree to a peace treaty?
Roosevelt: Certainly!

Diplomacy appeared to be Roosevelt's strong point. It was even predicted that he would get America into the next World Congress. He was far more polite than Lincoln, and had better speaking skills than Washington. He was actually America's first "normal" leader.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Messanger: President Roosevelt! The Aztec government has fallen apart! What should I tell the army?
Roosevelt: Tell them to stand down for now. The city-states pose no threat to us at this time. However, have one of the generals found an academy in one of our cities. If war comes, I want to be ready.
Messanger: Yes sir!
Spoiler :

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Suryavarman II: Hello. I look foward to many years of peace between our nations.
Roosevelt: As do I! Let there be peace!

The Khmer Empire was contacted in 1841, both leaders believed peace was an imnportant goal, and a treaty was quickly signed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Bismarck: Meet our demands,or be destroyed.
Roosevelt: Never! America pays tribute to no nation! If we must fight, so be it. You will recieve no tribute, bribes, or "gifts" from this nation!
Bismarck: *angrily* As you wish.

Its the forest title in Michigan. Its /the/ best production city America can build. There's a reason why the auto industry is located in Detriot.

Could you (or anyone that knows) tell me which spot, exactely?

Spoiler the map :

Spoiler :

Napoleon: Hello Roosevelt. France is free now. Will you agree to peace?
Roosevelt: Sure.

The French Revolution took place in 1848, and succeeded in freeing most of France from foreign control. Peaceful relations were established with the United States.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Zara Yaqob: Rosevelt, would you agree to protect Ethiopia from its enemies?
Roosevelt: Yes, also; what do you think of this trade...

Another nation agreed to become an American vassal: Ethiopia. American power was growing, and this made some of the other nations nervous.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Joao II: Please aid Portugal in this time of great difficulty.
Roosevelt: Fish..... Fish! FISH!!!!! I must go! I am needed elsewhere!

Roosevelt mysteriously disappeared in 1852. The Number Pi was voted as president-for-very-long-time afterwards.

Yes. I'm president now! :p

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Isabella: Give us what we want or be destroyed.
The Number Pi: No. You can go now.

Thinking that America would be willing to pay tribute now that Roosevelt had disappeared, the Spanish demanded a regular tribute of cotton, it was refused.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Messanger: President! We have learned that the Ottomans have collapsed.
The Number Pi: Very well. One less rival, that much closer to a domination/conquest/diplomatic victory.
Messanger: What?
The Number Pi: Oh, ummm nothing.

The Sublime Ottoman State, in 1858, fell to internal pressures, and fragmented into various warring city-states.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Well, at least our vassal got a city. Spanish sneak attack... they will be defeated. Soon America will not have to ask for cities, it will take them! Once there are tanks, planes, nukes...
*advisors and officials watch, confused*

The 1866 Congress of Khamul went fairly well for America. Their Malianese vassals recieved a city, but America did not. Spain also declared war during the congress, defeating the purpose of it keeping the peace. Russia joined in, hoping to defeat a potential rival of the future.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Good. gpt will increase now.. I mean... we will grow rich!

America continued to improve its economy, more merchants were encouraged to work in Washington.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Out wit the old, in with the new.

As the unstable German empire collapsed, the quarreling kingdoms of Britain united once more, in the year 1878.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Yay! 1 free specialist per city on the continent! And that much closer to a Historical Vist- I mean.... cool statue!

The Statue of Liberty was completed in 1880, it stood as a reminder to the American people of liberty, through its statue-ness.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Wow, I did not expect that... Send in the army, kill all invaders.

1886 was the year of a Russian invasion of America. The American army was large enough to drive them out. This was helped by the fact that the Russian army was cut off from supplies and support.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: I knew we should have beelined medicine! I mean... what could possible be causing this plague? *gives self vaccination*

Plague originated in Scandinavia in 1892, and spread to America in the same year. Its global effects were devestating.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Couldn't it have been a Great Scientist, Merchant, or Scientist? I mean... he is very sneaky, America now has better spying abilities.

In 1910, a Great Spy was born, and inproved the efficiency of the Interpol system greatly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Well, that could have been worse. Glad the war with Russia is over, though I did want a map or some money for peace... Only Spain remains, then... WORLD DOMINATION!!!

The 1916 World Congress of Noril'sk went fairly well for America. Spain did not get a city, but neither did America. The Ethiopians got an Arabian city though. It occoured at the same time as a religious resolution that the Russian-American war should end. This went into effect.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi:  More Xp! This is great! Now I just need the UN, and to get those Spanish and French cities, then get a GA...
*advsors look on in a confuised fashion, though they are used to these ramblings by now*

Benjaman Franklin, a Great Engineer, significantly boosted American construction of the Pentagon. It was completed ten years later. It served as a military headquarters for the nation, and was highlt effective at training soldiers to a superior degree.

Spoiler :

The Number Pi: I'll let the narration handle this one.
Advisors: *whispering* This one is crazy!

In 1924, in the oil-rich plains north of Santa Fe, prarie dogs were domesticated in large numbers. This provided pets for the wealthy, as well as boosted local commerce. This industry survived the building of wells in the region many years later, and continued to boost the local commercial output.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Saladin: Pay the tribute, or die.
The Number Pi:NEVER!!! You will not be making demands once my tanks are rolling through your capital!
Saladin: Very well, but you will regret this. *thinking: he is crazy, what are tanks??*

Arabia, joining in with other nations, demanded tribute from America. Like all the others, it was refused.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Well, I think the economy is pretty good. Time to expand! Today Mexico. Tomorrow Spain's and France's colonies. The next day rest and production of more soldiers. After that, South America. Then THE WORLD!!

Spoiler :

You're doing really well ! it's time to kick out those Europeans off the continent. I kind of like your city placement, since you started off with New York and Savannah. Chicago is the city with the best potential in growth/production I've ever seen, especially if placed 1SE of where you placed it, but then it gets too close to Washington. And you could actually go for the UHV, seeing how the game is going right now.

I actually could not get the UHV, it's 1928, and there are still European cities that I would have to remove by 1930. I'll probabily conquer them soon, I think i'll go for a domination victory, because conquest is hard and I have never gotten a diplomatic one.

(short) update on the way! :)

Spoiler :

The Number Pi: We invade Mexico now. We will take the good cities and raze the rest... stability will by hurt... *advisors ignore the seemingly insane mumbling*

The late 1900's saw the beginning of violent American exoansion towards thesouth. As the Aztec Alliance had been collapsed during Lincoln's reign, various city-states had to be defeated.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: This one will be burned. Reducing the risk of an Aztec re-spawn, as well as fewer cities, is worth -3 stability.
Advisor: Why do you talk like this is some strange game? With points and score?
The Number Pi: I'll tell you when we discover computers and get the new game of Civilization event.

Tuitán was the first city to fall to the American army. It was fairly well defended, at least compared to others, like Texcoco.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: DOW the other Independents... I mean... continue the invasion. Take the undefended cities. Raze the one to the north. This is great! The campaign is progressing smoothly.

The undefended cities of Tlatelolco and Texcoco were easily captured. Texcoco was razed, and the infantry garrisoned Tlatelolco.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Next! I'm suprised nobody conquered this land already.

American advances continued, and the poorly defended city of Atzcapotzalco was taken in 1936.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: That was pretty easy, onwards to Mayan lands!

The conquest of Mexico, as the old Aztec lands were called, was over in 1936, with the capture of Mexico City. American generals were ordered to push on through the Mayan lands.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Build a military academy. We need the soldiers.

After the conquest of Mexico/Aztec lands was complete, some American generals retired to New York to establish a military academy; which greatly sped up recruitment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Now we rest, recruit, overrun the Spanish, then take South America with tanks.
Advisor: Tanks?
The Number Pi: Think of it as.... wagons of steel without horses that shoot.

The Mayan city states put up little resistance, and were quickly taken. America had plans to expand further south, once the Spanish were delt with. This would likely cause conflict with the USSR, as the Incas were a vassal to them.

The Number Pi: Oh yeah...we'll nuke 'em!
*the advisors have given up at trying to understand the president by now*

Did France just build Hafalix (Louisburg)? Invade! And build Pearl Harbour!

EDIT: And Dallas, Houston, or Austin. You didn't just raze those cities for nothing, right?

Did France just build Hafalix (Louisburg)? Invade! And build Pearl Harbour!

EDIT: And Dallas, Houston, or Austin. You didn't just raze those cities for nothing, right?

Answer spoilered, because it reveals some of my plans for the rest of the game.

Spoiler Future plans :
I'm going to invade once I have tanks and planes, they are a Russian vassal, and Russia is extremely strong.

I plan to build Pearl Harbor when I go to colonize Australia (for the land and population)

I razed the cities to reduce maintance and some instability

Spoiler :

The Number Pi: WOOHOO! Tanks incoming!

In 1943, while exploring the ruins of Texcoco, a great American engineer and scientist (whose name is lost to us), had a revolutionary idea to greatly increase industrial output, inspired by a strangly-shaped ruin. The government financed this idea, and the sucess of it greatly sped up later developements in the field.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Sounds fun, when the world is conquered, i'll have to play.

In 1945, a new sport was developed in Chicago, called football. Many enjoyed this sport, and professional teams were quickly formed. It became a cultural tradition very quickly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Messanger: President Pi! Santiago de la Vega has been taken in an amphibious assault! We are victorious!
The Number Pi: Good. Continue the attacks. We will finish off the Carribbean resistance, then push on to South America.

Also in 1945, America began its assault on Spain with renewed vigor. The naval war was past, America had long since achieved dominance. Now the soldiers from the mexican Campaign were being ferried to the numerous Carribbean islands to remove all Spanish military forces, and claim the land for America.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: This is not good. We must step up the attack. We must increase troop production. Where are nukes when you need them?

In 1946, The Viking Council fell into civil war. Many believe that the USSR influenced the nation to do so, so it could step in for "peacekeeping" purposes. This alarmed many in the United States, as the USSR was already extremely strong, most (including The Number Pi) felt that America could become a target, due to the unfinished business of the first war between the two rising powers. Both rushed to build influence for the coming conflict.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

For America, this meant winning the Spanish-American War, and gaining a beachhead for campaigns in South America. American conquest of South Amreica would make Stalin nervous, as the USSR held considerable sway over the Incas, in the form of a vassal-master agreement. America continued its campaign by taking the Spanish city of Eleuthera in 1947.

The Number Pi: Good. keep expanding. We will need to keep good science rates; I want nukes, planes, and tanks soon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Why did we have to build the Interpol in Washington? How o I know these spies aren't double agents?

America stepped up its espionoge efforts, with the recruitment of more elite spies; to advise the Interpol, for future use should the USSR attack, or if America should get the first strike.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

America took control of Grenada in 1949, and with it, total dominance in the Carribbean. Spain had two cities left on the northern coast of South America. The southern colonies were of no use to America at this point in time.

The Number Pi: Great! Now we can fight on LAND! No more annoying -50% amphibious penalties...
*advisors ignore him*
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: That could have been far worse! Maybe we should stop with the military techs, to get Mass Media for the Un...
*advisors do not even notice anymore*

The World Congress of 1950 in Tokyou showed America's rising influence in the world's politics. While not strong enough to get America cities directly or stop the Spanish from getting one, it was great enough to get cities for the Ethiopian vassals, and take a city from the Soviet Union for Japan.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: Mining Co.! This is great! We can spread it to our vassals for more money!

America had one clear advantage in its Cold War with the USSR: corporations. used properly to generate income and provide bonuses, they could give America the edge it needed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

In 1953, Pearl Harbor was created in Hawaii. It would serve as a naval base for America in the Pacific, once it built a fleet.

The Number Pi: "Pearl Harbor: always sleep with one eye open."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: France broke free? Excelent. We can take their Canadian cities without being attacked by the Soviet Union now. Wait until we have the tanks and planes though. As for Caracas, nothing can stop us now!

1956: in this year the Caracas was taken, the Americans gained even more momentun, now that the main Spanish army was destroyed, along with numerious airships and galleons. Also, the French broke away from the USSR, thinking it in their best interests. This move only made America more eager to attack, and drive the Europeans from North America.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

In 1957, the American fleet was upgraded. No navy in the world could stand up to America's fleet. America planned to build more ships, to keep out and transport ships that the USSR might send in a war.

The Number Pi: Good! Once we are out of this war, I want coastal cities building these new ships, for now, keep the infantry coming!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

The Number Pi: All objectives have been completed. Let's see what we can get for peace from Spain.

In 1960, the last renents of Spanish military power were wiped from the Carribbean region. America sent diplomats for peace.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :

Isabella: We give up!! Don't kill us!!!
The Number Pi: Very well. Also, would you agree to these trade deals. The imbalance is to pay for war damages.
Isabella: Fine! Spain will pay!

Spain agreed to complete catipulation to America in the peace treaty. America had gained another vassal state. But more would come, more than even Stalin could predict.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler :
[/

Ramesses II: Would America please protect Egypt from its enemies?
The Number Pi: Yes, America will. Would you also agree to trade?
Ramesses II: Cartainly.

..........

Joao II: Pi, we are at war with the USSR, Inca, and France. Will you help us? We will agree to vassal status.
The Number Pi: NO! I do not want a world war! Make peace, submit to Soviet rule, but don't drag the United States into a war where nobody can win!

..........

Sueliman II: Would you accept Turkey as a vassal? We fear for our safety.
The Number Pi: Sorry, no. I cannot risk such an unstable, distant vassal that could get America into a war with the USSR. You are on your own.
Sueliman II: Oh well. At least we are not as bad off as the Portuguese!

..........

The Number Pi: *mumbling* Portugal's trouble has only begun. I want its Brazilian colonies, and I will take them.

Nice story, just like the first one was. I am looking forward for your Rome AAR :)
