Name: Horseshoecrabica
Inhabited by: dwarves and horseshoe crabs
Climate: semiarid
Government: Monarchy, but food and other crap is free
Population: 500,000 dwarves, unknown number of horseshoe crabs (no one responded to the census), 200,000 dead dwarves, 500,000 dead elves, 4,000,000 dead goblins, 1 zombie whale
Dwarves live underground, due to the entire above ground being mountainous and/or volcanic. Below the surface, the dwarves grow a variety of plants and animals, and harness the magma to create weapons of mythical power. No one can get past the dwarves impenetrable drawbridge which turns into an unbreakable wall when raised, nor can they get through the trap doors which allow the dwarves access to outside for whatever reason they might have. The dwarves have harnessed the volcanoes to "flood" their island with molten rock, killing off anything foolish enough to be outside. This is also why there are no trees. Despite their invulnerability, the dwarves' most advanced war device is the friggin crossbow, so their offensive capabilities are nonexistant (on the other side of the same coin, they can make complex mechanisms out of pure rock). Due to all the boats being murdered by lava, the dwarves do not have a navy. However, considering they are amazing miners, they can tunnel under the ocean to other islands and not die in the process. Usually.
The horseshoe crabs live on the beach, obviously.
Topography notes: red is lava, cayenne is volcano, black signifies mountain, yellow is sand. That weird looking thing in the middle of the mountain range is the entrance (yes that is a lava moat, thank you for noticing).
