The joy of little things...

Popping off a few 9mm rounds with my brand new stainless steel Beretta 92fs.

Getting injured at work but not knowing it untill you realize that there's blood all over all the packages you've been loading.

Getting my Honda Accord up to 120 MPH when I drive home late at night and not getting tagged by the pigs.

Eating a really good Philly Cheese Steak.

But most of all, I love it when I my GF spends a night at the apartment and I wake up in the in the darkness and for a second I wonder what that sound is, then realize that it's her breathing rythmically but a few inches away from me. I remember nights where I spent hours just watching and listening...MMMM...The best of things.

Hmmm, I forgot some smilies I love.

:cringe:

:king:

:yeah:

:aargh3:

:whipped:

The optical mouse WITH wheel I got yesterday.

The ADSL fast internet link that is going to be installed tomorrow.

The beautiful weather today that brought all those lovely summertime dressed girls on the streets!

My Corrado beating that jackass BMW 5 today.

And a chilled bottle of Grolsch to celebrate it all!

That is all apart from the CIv 3 jells of course.

Yah, I like The Police too, but isn't there music out there that you think is better? :p Couldn't resist...

And that brings me to another one: the preset tuner on my radio. I have 12 stations from jazz to classical to rock that I'm always switching between, both for the variety and to avoid commercials. :D

Schadenfreude is another little pleasure but ought not to be indulged in too often lest you become a darker shade than you were before. Something that cannot be said for beer, which it is also unwise to indulge in too often. The possibilities of having a shadowed ale are quite frankly worrying.

Ah, a passing reference to one's being. How very nice.
It is often that I go into my club, and say to Carstairs "Carstairs, old fellow, get me a double helping of Schadenfreude, a little tipple of fermented milk of human kindness, and some rough shag for my pipe.":D
