I will be starting in Washington. I'm also going to stick with my same opening from A More Perfect Union, with a twist. I hereby found (and join) the No Party Party.
 
The No Party Party has no logo or creed. What makes the No Party Party special is that it's not really a party! Just a heading to keep us on all the roll calls and make sure we don't get forgotten. If you want to vote with your heart and your principles (or your pocketbook), go ahead! The No Party Party has no principles or goals besides the prosperity and success of America as best judged by the Party's individual members, and the No Party Party will never ask or require its members to organize or vote in any particular way.

The official abbreviation for the No Party Party is N/A. This does not mean that there is no official abbreviation (as in the classic reading of "not applicable"), but that the actual shorthand is "N/A".

CLARIFICATION: The No Party Party should not be confused with the No Party, which would be a party who just says "No" to everything, or with the No Parties Party, which would be a party that hates parties (eg, birthdays). We in the No Party Party vote with our individual principles, and will not necessarily always vote No. We also have no argument with parties of a celebratory nature.
 
It is good that you made those clarifications because I was afraid that you would try to outlaw the people's right to party which the ALP considers to be one of the fundamental human rights. Let it be known that any who attempt to restrict the right of people to party will opposed to the death by the ALP.

Just a note: at least the Guild, but I'm sure the rest of the parties do, only seek america's prosperity and success. Parties are just to see in which way that should be achieved.

Therefore, I invite you to join a real party, or at least give yours an empty but astounding name and a completely ambiguous manifesto. Of course you are free to do what you think, but it is my opinion that being member of N/A is just like not being in any party.

What I mean is: why to sign up in a party that is like not being in a party? You start being in no party, so it's nearly worthless signing up in the N/A.

What I mean is that the point of the party is a pure nonsense, not because of being the opposite to what parties are, but because being no party (this is it, this is from where the name comes).
And I think it's great, but that if you do create a party is a complete nonsense that it is focused on their members not really being in a party.

@Jwitti: At the time, there wasn't much known of our surroundings as our initial units went north and west. So, New York was placed in what I saw as its best possible location. Of course, its growth has been stifled somewhat, but its not as if its been suffering as a size 5 city throughout the game.

What I mean is: why to sign up in a party that is like not being in a party? You start being in no party, so it's nearly worthless signing up in the N/A.

What I mean is that the point of the party is a pure nonsense, not because of being the opposite to what parties are, but because being no party (this is it, this is from where the name comes).
And I think it's great, but that if you do create a party is a complete nonsense that it is focused on their members not really being in a party.
