Who would you vote for in the general election in November in each of these matchups? Choose one option from each pair. You should choose 6 options total, unless you are apathetic about certain ones.

In other words: in each matchup (1-6) choose who you would vote for if they were the two nominees.

I have included only candidates that stand a decent chance of getting the nomination. I suppose an argument could be made for including Guiliani, but I doubt it.

Definitely Ron Paul. McCain is terrible in many ways by the way.

This is why I said wait for the poll. Paul will not get the nomination, sorry.
We can't know for sure until Super Tuesday™

Voted all Democratic.

The only Republican that has a chance to win is McCain over Hillary.

There is absolutely no chance for a pro-war Republican in the general election.

I'd vote for McCain or Romney; I will not be voting for Huckabee.

I don't like Clinton, and although I'd respect Obama in the Oval Office, I don't think I'd actually vote to put him there.

Luckily, I don't think Mike will be the GOP nominee, so I won't have to write in Richard Childress.

Partisanship FTL

I'm not sure what I'd do in most of these cases.

Huckabee and McCain over Clinton; Clinton over Romney.

Obama over McCain, Romney, and Huckabee.

Though I think Romney has a chance against Clinton, I agree that McCain has the best chances against both Dems.
No he doesn't. He wants to stay in Iraq for a hundred years. Polls are showing that the majority of this country want to end the war\set a timetable. Besides, he would get destroyed at the debates. Have you seen his terrible performance in Florida? He couldn't answer Ron Paul's simple question. That and he contradicts himself over and over again it's not even funny. Watch him on Meet The Press.

What the... Romney has a chance against no one. I'd pick Romney as the winner against Gravel. Other than that he is toast in the General Election.

I like Ron Paul's ideas, but he's too jittery, and has absolutely NO skill at prose, much less the charisma you need to be leader of the free world. The best we can hope for is for the leader of the GOP pack to pick up on some of his ideas.

Sorry, Tenochtitlan, I forgot to tell you: I don't care what anyone who supports Ron Paul thinks about anything. So don't feel the need to reply to any of my posts.

Taking quotes out of context ftw. :mischief:

Wow easy there, I didn't mean to offend you, but McCain sucks big time, he's a sellout, a hypocrite, and he doesn't know what he's doing.
