Gelion, that Valkyrie thing you keep posting - what is that from? I had that exact same toy when I was a kid. It was a real quality toy, too... made mostly of some kind of metal, and was maybe a foot tall (when in robot form).... but yeah, that's exactly it. When I first saw that thing, it really struck a memory from my childhood.

I find it ironic, but I guess they are the best form one can find.
VF is from Robotech and I too used to watch it as a kind. I had 100's of pics from Robotech on my old PC, all of this stuff is from the net. I made a collection of good Robo sites if you need them.
And Normaland where the hell did you see Himmler? And if its him. So what? Don't like it - leave. Anyway we beat the "baby thead" by 4 pages

But what was it? A TV show? Comic book? A proposed military priject? We're talking about 15-20 years ago, I had this toy (IIRC), somebody gave it to me, heck I never really knew what it was... just some variant off the 'Transformer' line, it was always kind of an oddball toy. Really cool, but I had no idea what it was from.

You know I had a toy from "Transformers" and played with it for a long time before I got to know there was a show. Anyway Robotech is an "anime" TV show. I think it was partly copied from a similar Japanese one and "Westernised." The main show goes in 3 parts where humans fight diffenent "humaniod" aliens in 3 wars. Here are two sites:

Hopefully this was not because of any admiration for the man or the Nazi regime. They did produce some damn fine hardware during WWII though. The same thing applies with admiring weapons of war, nobody in his right mind likes war or what it implies. But some weapons are just flat-out beautiful, so I derive a certain amount of 'guilty pleasure' when I view them.
