Six hours of class and three hours of homework are all that's waiting for me tomorrow. I just hope this constant civ5 state of mind will not make it seem like i'm tripping out on acid.
I'm not the religious type but a couple prayers tonight might keep me sane till Tuesday or Wednesday or god knows when:rolleyes: (I got the free shiping:mad:)

    Not worried about Monday.

Goto my current gig, discuss fulltime opportunities with them, hit the gym, hopefully finish my current MP game for Civ4.

Get a nice sleep, get up, goto DMV EARLY, exchange my license, stop by 7-11 store, pick up everything I need for a 24 hour marathon, get home, set it all up....

Not too worried.... Though i just did reinstall SMAX, thats the only wrinkle in the plan.

So when can the beta people talk about it?

After reading this thread, I wondered if I could download Civ5 today in anticipation of Tuesday's authorization.

Yup, I could. So I'm downloading the program right now as I type.

I have a meeting at 8am tomorrow, then after the hour long meeting I start my monday long shift. Which means 9am to 8pm by the end of it I will be ready for my weekend. Consisting of my tuesday and wensday off. Contemplating taking a paid sick day thursday to enjoy 3 days of civ V heaven.

I'm in England. I go off to University on Friday. Will have lots of free time there, but I'm sure most of it will be spent socialising.

Seems odd that they're waiting til release to drop the NDA, especially when there's reviews out already.

Like many people, I will be throwing myself into work to try and pass Monday. Unlike most people (I hope!) I gave notice several weeks ago, and last Friday was my last day of work. (No I didn't quit for Civ5... well not entirely, it may have influenced the timing).

So I actually talked my boss into letting me work one more day. A few bucks, a much faster day going by, and access to the big color laser printer to print out a 200 page manual...

    Sometimes Monday isn't THAT bad!

Hmm. Add to Monday plans "Kill Dale". Or maybe just beat him up a bit, since I do kinda like some of your mod work!

Not till release is active. And then, only what is in the release version. No comment on development is allowed.

Thankfully, my Monday is going to be fairly busy so it'll go by quickly (hopefully). The agonizing part will be Tuesday morning, waiting for Steam to unlock the game.

Trees are a farmable, renewable resource. I'd be more concerned about the environmental impact of the waste toner, and the electricity draw. If I was worried about such things.

Oh, I know. It just amused me because this was the reasoning 2K/Firaxis gave for providing a PDF manual.

Thats a shame, I'm always interested in how they rebalanced things over a playtest, as it would highlight a great deal about the game itself.

Much like every other corporation that preaches green technology...if it's not about the bottom line, they're a very sad corporation :)
