I'm not so sure about Spanish -- that's kind of on the bottom. It seems so quick and rough/mean sounding.

French sounds the most beautiful to my ears.

I don't like either Gaelic or Welsh, as often when I've heard them they are being used specifically to exclude other people - it's lead me to associate the sound of them with such rudeness.

Magyar sounds beautiful, but it's a b**** to learn if you're not Hungarian, though I'm doing my best. I agree about Romanian, it combines a Slavic accent with a Romance language. Clearly up there with the best of them.

I know a couple at my Church who speak Romanian. They did speak it once, but i have forgotten how it sounds.

Well...

I can't really judge about French. It's not "a language" for me, it's the tongue I think with.
I like the rythm of english. Though it's a pain to understand due to complete lack of articulation, it gives the sentences themselves a rythmic.
Russian sounds nice at first, but after a while, it just seems like the person have a problem with her jaws.
German and Arabic are in a close contest to get the first place for the worst sound language. That someone can find one of them beautiful is really so far beyond my understanding that it would require a new word just to represent the amount of amazement I am when I see them not being described as crap.
Spanish is pretty bland. Italian sounds nice, but quickly tire me up.
Japanses is pretty cool, but, like all syllabary-based language, is quite poor in sonorities, and all the sentences sounds the same.

Latin, on the other hand... Sounds cool, has a nice touch of mystery about it... I can't get tired of songs in latin.

So I'll have to vote for latin as the most beautiful language.

I like Japanese. Maybe because I love watching sub-titled animes...
But I don't understand why you guys like French. I was forced to learn it... I went through hell, every friggin lesson... how I hate this language!
As well as Russian, how can anybody like Russian? I've got some Russians living next door... it doesn't sound very nice, after a while...
English has several words which sound kinda cool...
Anyway, my fav language is German.
