Love it or hate it, this game is still selling even back from '92. After two sequels, an online multiplayer game is coming out this holiday season. The trailer is neat.
I've played it before, but my mom likes it more then I do, but on the upside, the most worlds almost always inspire my sculpture, and i always feel like re-creating in clay those beautiful worlds
on another note, I wanted to see the apish type people supposedlly inhabiting that creepy tree age... I hope that were able to pay a visit to new and improved versions of the origional lands...
The sequels have gotten better for character interaction IMO. You're still on your own, but at least they're there. Uru, being MP, should correct this.

To bad about those monkey guys, I remember alway wanting to see them when I was 8, all the way back in...'96... despite being freaked out by the place, now that I'm interested in the game again, I've gone back there, and I get a bit depressed , although mist Isle, despite putting in a feeling of lonllyness, cheers me up with a sense of exploration, enough that some times I get up out of my chair, and go do stuff outside-which I immediatlly forget because its Florida in the summer time, and tourists are hogging my beaches...
Riven took forever for me to solve, and I needed a little prompting from my friends to get past some annoying spots. The game really had only 2 major puzzles, but they were very tough.
Then, I got Myst3 and solved it in a week or 2. It seemed a lot easier; don't know if it was, or whether I was just getting good at knowing what to expect.
btw, I heard they were dropping the 'online' part from the new one and making it just single-player at first. Is that right?
I might have to get this myst (actualley, I have 'em all except realmyst- presents to my mom, who never had time to play 'em so they are mine now, and I havent finished a one... but if I can interact with people.... sweet
