Anyways, what I understand about these "debates" is that they are structured such that Hovind et al make lots of rapid-fire criticisms of evolution and the scientists don't get time to respond to them all (as it takes much less time to make a criticism than to refute it) leaving several unrefuted and thus creating the impression that the scientist doesn't have the answer.

Hovind's "debates" aren't meant to make a scientific case for anything, merely to impress the gullible. He leaves what passes for the serious defense of creationism to others.

Also, don't call me an idiot. The name-calling in which you have engaged in this thread strikes me as somewhat un-Christian. Do you really think that Jesus would be doing that?

Oh it's sweet but let me just say I've been waiting with bated breath for a creationist to come aboard this site for many a moon and now that your here bravo, your entertainment value has really given me a good grin, sometimes this thread has kind of devolved into back slapping and saying yes we all agree and that to me is not what a thread like this should be about, keep up the good work even if it is somewhat uninformed it's a damn site better than nothing, and I'm impressed at your resolve.

Careful annoying Eran is extremely difficult I think I nearly managed it once, but I can't remember how? He does seem to have replied to that comment you lofted at him, you can get banned for questioning someones intelect, There are some here who have learnt to insult without facing the wrath of the moderators and I'm not going to mention any names, you clearly aren't one of them.

Moderator Action: Wrong. We do not ban people for their beliefs, but we DO ban people for trolling (eg. your "Like my new sig" post) and flaming (your "you are an idiot" posts).

We can also ban you for failing to respect the authority of moderators - which is exactly what you are doing in this post, where you basically claim that us banning you would be due to bias & prejudice against your beliefs.

Final warning - any more flaming, trolling or failure to respect the authority of moderators will see you banned.

I'll miss you but I'm on about name calling not your beliefs, as far as I know you can't get banned for your beliefs unless they are morally repugnent. Like ohh I don't know holocaust denial or condoning 9/11. Besides with the tepidness of your current insult it's likely no one will even notice let alone ban you for a short time.
