How is it stainless steel can stain?
I kinda know the answer to this, but perhaps someone can enlighten me on something I don't know.
Stainless steel is created by combining steel with another metal, usually chromium. This arrangement trades the metals' properties. Steel is strong, but it rusts. Chromium doesn't rust, but it is relatively weak. By combining 90% steel and 10% chromium a balance is reached that doesn't rust easily and is still strong enough to be useful. To the point: it rusts because it is 90% steel.
I have a surge protector that has two lights next to the switch. One of them is red, and the label below it says "protecting" and the other light is green and says "grounded". I plugged it in and the red light came on, but not the green one. Why is that? And what's the importance of "grounding"?

i don't believe official statistic on the number of asian illegal immigrants. Only around 1 million in America.
Are the officials confused because they can't tell apart asians from one another and their names? (Chin Ling, Cung Leung).
Could the number of Asian illegal immigrants be MUCH higher then 1 million? (like, 4 million?)
Why do you think that 1 million is too few?

I think we have many duplicate Asians.
For instance, within an illegal community, they pass around one legal passport to everybody.
Since they all look a like and no one bothers to read the names either, because they are hard to pronounce and many times names are repeated.
That is my thinking, why I do not trust the official stats for asian illegals.
