Turks - they're mixed race, their ancestors came from Central Asia as nomadic invaders, but they mixed with the native Byzantine population enough to say they can be considered white, most of them anyway. Persians - yes, Kazakhstanis - only those of Russian descent, the rest is Asian, Hindus - that's a religion, if you mean Indians, they belong to the White (Europoid) race.

Obviously, there are differences between Semites and Hamites, Indians, and Europeans.

I know, its only one country's deinition. but I personally was very susrprised to see how broad the scope of "white" is in that census. I think a lot of americans probably would be too (not to mention everyone else)
