The purpose of this thread is for users to provide aid (not financial, medical or sexual please!) to their fellow fanatics in time of need. I notice oftentimes threads vere off topic towards various posters personal issues. Maybe this thread can also serve to stem the tide of weekly "Girl advice" threads that seem to be cropping up (not that there's anything wrong with the immortal quest to understand women).

Please keep the spamming to a minimum and respect your fellow users who lay their souls bare in order to improve their lives and the lives of their fellows.

I eat a lot of sunflower seeds, maybe the salt in them has something to do with it.

I'd lay off the sunflower seeds for awhile. It should clear things up (the same thing has on occasion happened to me)

That must be it! It happens to me all the time when I eat Sunflower seeds.

Usually I suck the salt off the seed and then crack it open in my mouth.

After a good number of seeds my tongue start to hurt the way you describe it.

And back on-topic , has anyone used a paint sprayer? I'm about to paint a bunch of inside walls and am considering getting one, the walls are mostly stucco-textured, and I've never used anything beyond a roller.

I haven't used a sprayer, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. If it'll work on the outside of a house, or outdoors like the adverts claim, I can't see why it wouldn't work for inside.

Can you rent one for a day and try it out?

Okay, so that I'm not going too off-topic and Turner doesn't exercise his mod abilities on me, here you go:

What should I do if:
My mother is cheating my father and we have more proofs than anyone is going to have time to read (we have more than 1000 reports from a key-logger we installed (which are btw, perfectly legal).
She steals money from my house.
Doesn't help us at all... She doesn't buy anything to eat, doesn't wash anything, and doesn't talk to my father since he caught her with 2 men in bed...
But she still uses the various items from our house, eats from the food we buy... And we don't see absolutely anything from her salary.
We don't have enough money for my father to divorce (we have money to divorce, but we wouldn't have anything to eat after)...
She doesn't appreciate me at all (I do a lot of things... really!)
She actually hates me and talks only angry on me...
My guitar teacher knows I'm his best student, but promotes others much more, even taking things (offers, sponsorships) that were given to me, and gifting them to other people, especially to a 15 year old girl he is in love with (really!).
My father wasted 23 years from his life staying with this monster, which I have to call "mother"... And he was brilliant in anything and everything, mathematics, literature, physics, computers...
There is still a lot of hope for me, since: Everybody recognizes me as an intelligent person, I have over 100 prizes in 8 different branches, and I recieved an offer from a teacher from London to come to study there from September or from April, with a full scolarship, if I pass a test which I am sure I will... But I sent them an email as a reply to the many others I sent and received to and from them, and they didn't answer it for over 1 week!

If I was your dad, I'd divorce her. Yeah, as you say, that won't leave you money to eat, but sometimes you have to make a break like that and just deal with it. The financial part will be a short-term thing. You can get over that. I'd also stay away from her as much as possible, given the way she treats you.

As for your music teacher....well, that's a tough one. You certainly can stand up and say "That's mine, why are you giving it to someone else?" Certainly well within your rights. But is it really hurting you? Now, I'm not advocating your teacher running all over you, but you have to learn to pick your battles. Let's say you do stand up to him, that's gonna alienate him. Drive him away. Then you won't be able to learn anything else from him. That's assuming you still can learn from him. Granted it's not the best advice, but I've learned in life that you have to pick your battles.

Schools are busy places. It could be that they have a lot of students who qualify for what you're up against. Or the person can be sick, or on vacation. There's a bunch of legitimate reasons as to why they waited a week to answer. Patience, Grasshopper, patience.
