Hi! This is my second day playing BTS and the first time I saw the Apostolic Palace. I discovered Hinduism and managed to build the Palace myself, as I love building Wonders :D . After it was finished the Apostle title was given to the Ethiopian Leader as I was somewhat behind him and the other brethen-civ didn't support me.

My questions are: (1) What benefits do I have, as the Palace builder, besides the prodution bonus from religious buildings; (2) Is there any harms for building the Palace; and (3) When will the next election begin, if there is any?

1) You are always a full member
2) Not others than the influence on your wars / trades / cities the elections have on you
3) After 3 votes on something different, or something like 30 turns (normal gamespeed). Make sure to spread the AP religion to all your cities.

So the vote will count on cities only with the religion, right? And does it count city improvements, tech or military power?

Votes can only come from a city with the religion. For "full" members, I believe it's 4 votes per population size, and for "voting" members it's 2 per pop size.

Number of votes depends on the population of your civilization. If a city don't have right religion it's population is not added.
