The RP Nation:

It would help if we knew what the colors actually mean.

I think in 2007 the color for Nevada would be much different ..... I think we will have a majority shift here soon.

It looks both guys have/had pretty mixed regional support. These maps don't tell me anything.

Except there is pronounced support in Northern New England and the Mountain states.

I bet Ron Paul get the exact same number of electoral votes as Ross Perot in every single state.

Yeah, but least Perot got some popular vote; Paul isn't going to the presidential polls.

Can we have a few less Ron Paul threads? Maybe make him his very own subforum.

Well, these are starting to enter the realm of spam threads...

I wouldn't say spam threads, just stupid threads. There are plenty of stupid threads filled with thousands of long posts which nonetheless lack any merit whatsoever.

So what do the colors mean? It's meaningless!

I mean, I assume blue means godless and liberal, and red means red and virile

Red means red? Your observations would astound Newton himself.

Yea... you should really have a legend for this.

First map: It measures doners-per-capita. The redder the state, the more doners-per-capita.

Second map: percentage of votes for Perot. Red means higher precentage of the popular vote. I couldn't find a better map. This may be better, but it does measure ALL independents.

Well, Newton invented Calculus on vacation, but man, that Yankee invented the reflexive property while posting on CFC.
