I bet Ron Paul get the exact same number of electoral votes as Ross Perot in every single state.
Except there is pronounced support in Northern New England and the Mountain states.

Red means red? Your observations would astound Newton himself.
First map: It measures doners-per-capita. The redder the state, the more doners-per-capita.
Second map: percentage of votes for Perot. Red means higher precentage of the popular vote. I couldn't find a better map. This may be better, but it does measure ALL independents.
Well, Newton invented Calculus on vacation, but man, that Yankee invented the reflexive property while posting on CFC.
I think you actually mean "the darker the state, the more doners-per-capita".
