The Secret Border Patrol Facebook Group Where Agents Joke About Migrant Deaths and Post Sexist Memes

I quote-spliced your post. Smearing him won't make you less wrong.

It should be real simple to repeat the points you think I glossed over.

Fidel Castro is dead and he cannot be an effect if immigration. Raul Castro is certainly not coming to America so he cannot be an effect of it either. So I ask again. What are the very bad effects you predict?

It's sort of hilarious that a second poster made the same mistake. The Dem clown car really is too full I see.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I am not a member, nor supporter, nor advocate of the Democratic Party of the United States. Nor of the Republican Party of the United States. I believe BOTH have grossly overstayed their welcome, become too complacent, promote far too many failed and broken policies, are both corrupt to the core, and U.S. political health and culture would be FAR better served if they BOTH got the heave-ho and real multi-party system and REAL choice for the voters replaced them. I know this opinion may take a while to sink in or be believable to many Americans today...

Very well, "laws designed to not be properly enforced", if you insist on the difference. Makes it even worse - and does not change my original point.
Make laws complex and dysfunctional enough and you could theoretically have them fail to work in any fashion you desired. Maybe I should have said Byzantine.

I can believe your disgust with the two main parties. I don't believe third parties are all that committed to expanding their bases enough to reshape the American political arena. Libertarians even had a guy striptease his political platform.

I'm not saying Third Parties as currently defined. I'm saying, abolish the broken, failed, and corrupts Constitutional relics of the days of appeasing Slave States and a show of Alexander Hamilton's contempt for the competence of the common voter in politics like, the Electoral College and gerrymandering of the House of Representatives, that forces the two main parties, which aren't "natural" parties by the reckonings of most of the rest of the world, but uneasy coalitions of convenience, each with obvious separate camps and factions, that in a healthier and more functional political culture, would be separate parties, and that are tearing each other apart at the seams, as we can see every primary season, together, to just fall into a more functional multi-party system along their natural fault lines. Have the Trump, Cruz, Paul, Bush/McCain, Kasich, Clinton/Biden, Sanders/Warren, Blue Dog, etc. ideological camps all be separate parties, where they'd be more functional and workable, than these dysfunctional circuses of forced coalitions that are mandated by obsolete electoral mechanisms.

Speaking of blue dogs, Sinema has been a surprise.

No, I was thinking about the Senate dress code.

A great reason to preserve an anachronistic, corrupt, and rigged system almost as bad as the "emerging democracies" the U.S. Department of State likes to scold, quite hypocritically. Except, rather than decide, by corruption, rigging, malfeasance, who WILL win, they decide who CANNOT win - which is more insidious. But dress code issues to maintain corrupt and rigged systems of governance sounds like an argument Disraeli would have made in Victorian Britain - and is the same kind of contemptable mentality.

Those states are clearly suffering from archaic and gauche dress codes. Perhaps we ought to sanction them for not wearing thigh high boots.

With your disgusting level of arrogant apathy, you should just give up your vote, as you'll obviously do nothing productive or positive with it.

Apathetic right wing terrorists. You should get that trademarked.

Spoiler :
Theoretically if someone wanted to disrupt the two party system and present Constitutional order, they'd at least realize how social media is shaping that terrain.

Where did I use the word "terrorist" there? "Terrorists," for all their horrible flaws, agendas, ideologies, and modus operandi, actually believe in something, and are activist, and are willing to die for what they believe in. No, I did NOT conflate the two there. That was your own conceit, which I will NOT accede to.

You pointed out that terrorists aren't apathetic. What's left for the thread is rectifying perceptions of apathy with perceptions of fascism and/or terrorism.

That is, supposing, that you actually consider me apathetic. Theoretically you could just not want me to vote.

But, what if I happen to be educated in politics - REALLY educated, not crappy Glen Beck misinformed - to know that there's actually such a thing as a political SPECTRUM, and that the Neo-Manichaean view of a single "Left' and single "Right" as solid and exhaustive ideologies is actually not true at all and an utter lie?

No there isn't. All of those distinctions are purely imaginary.

Open another Beck-Coulter-Limbaugh Special Reserve package, roll it in a zigzag, and smoke it good, there... :S

states with lots of federal land, Indian reservations, and government facilities/parks/military bases etc tend to get more federal $$$

This might explain (a bit) the rocky mountain west red states, it does not explain the southeast at all.
