It is you who may want to reconsider as you will have a two front war, while for me it will be a one front war, I highly advise you don't get involved in the conflict it will only hurt you, it can't help at all. Also why should Germany and I not declare on Russia? They declared war on our ally.

I'm just saying but i'm pretty sure Belgium can't sign alliances as it is an internal neutral state, but I may be wrong..

Is it now? I'm gonna have to look that up. I could do a "royal proclamation thing" of Albert repealing such laws, but that might spark a rebellion.

^Unless England has a problem with it, as far as I know you can do whatever you want. I think (and someone, feel free to correct me) Belgium's independance is what England guaranteed. So when it was taken over/attacked, England declared War. Belgium is very much its own country, with its own empire.

OOC: I did a little research, and although what LizardKing said absolves the necessity of it, Belgium is part of N.A.T.O. which would imply to me that it is possible for Belgium to be part of a paramilitary alliance, although that may be due to more recent rulings in Belgian politics and law, rather than being the case in an alternate universe, in the year 1914.

OOC: The Treaty of London mandates Belgium neutrality, and in a way guarantees it's independence.

The reason why Belgium joined NATO, is because after you get invaded twice, you tend to think a piece of paper guaranteeing your neutrality isn't working. As a result, no one really cares or pays attention to the Treaty of London anymore. Belgium could join a military alliance now, but that would absolve the Treaty of London.

OOC: I can see Great Britain finding the Treaty of London awfully trite at the moment, and would probably value an ally so close to Germany's border. Within the RP, I'm manouvering (I know that's not how you spell it, but I can't remember how you do) to the Allied side, although I am appealing to prevent a war.
