Anyway, here's my screenshot. After looking at col's start, this seriously makes me wonder why the game is rigged in my favor. Maybe I am stuck on an island and this is all I have. ;)

In the interest of fair disclosure........
 
I'm a very peaceful builder-type - I'm not giving away my map so that people won't attack me... :mischief:

4 cows+wheat means he can just roll over all of us unless he is stopped. I wish I had an archer right next to Don rght now.

Also, keep in mind that XIII seems wary about offering up his start. I don't want to be the only one with a bullseye painted on my back. :D

@MarineCorps - I am usually a builder, but am adaptable. Especially when everyone is eyeing my beloved city.

I haven't received anything fr CT, so I won't be playing my round till Sunday - weekend you understand. ;)
 
I want to be far away,Dom I'd like an archer next to you but I think that by the time I can build an archer your cows will have built a small army.......

Why is everyone so coy? Its normal to publish your start position - without giving away your location of course ;)
 
It is normal... for an allied game that is. I'm not as good as you, col. :p

Oops, forgotten to add the AI civs - so only 6 of us to battle it out. :evil: I don't think anyone will want to restart?

I dont really think of myself as a good player since I habituate pbems with deity killing players such as Anarres and Erikk who are rather better than me .

There are advantages in not having AIs around having just got crunched in a pbem by 4 Emperor level AIs + my opponent who had bought alliances against me (he paid more than I did):cry:

I dont think posting your start position gives the other players much info but it does make it a bit more fun through the early tedious moves.

Save sent to Chieftess. Has she even posted here yet? I think she is the only one that hasn't taken the opportunity to downplay her Civ skills in this thread. I am not buying a word of it, from any of you. ;)

Oh BTW, I am pretty lousy at this game too. :mischief: And col, I am just eternally grateful that the Beef Brigade has my back. :lol:
