The Star, The Crescent, And The Cross

The Star, The Crescent, And The Cross is a scenario that depicts the start of World War III, it takes place in the Middle East. Based on current events, and oppinions of many people. It is fictional for the most part. It takes place at the start of when Israel invades Lebanon. Due to Israel invading Lebanon, it sparks a muslim retaliation and the formation of the Middle Eastern Coalition. Which thus declares war on Israel, and begins a massive conflict in the Middle east. Thus forcing Israel to call for help from America and Britain, and for the assitance of the Northern Atlantic Treatys Organization. The Middle East is in all-out war, two alliances at bay. Which way the war goes? Thats up to you...

We'll probably use mostly modern technologies, or those that are certain in the near future, like the F-35 and the Eurofighter Typhoon, or the Black Eagle MBT. So no lasers and GDRs and what not.
Also, this is inspired by the conflict right now, just a bit more...expaned, sort of an absolute-worst-case scenario.

Coop: If you give me a list of the units you want in this scenario, I'd be happy to take inventory of what we have available here on CFC, and what we will need.

hey cheezy, ill ask LC to add you to the team if you want, its seems that you are very knowledgable on teh subject

Ok, if anyone wishes to help in the MOD, then theay have to pm one of the team members, so we can grant you access to the private forums we are using to construct this MOD.

hey cheezy, you should be able to see them now.

why so many civs it will lag with poor computers

*and I don't think Turkey should be In the NATO (or it won't be a crusade !! )
*I don't also think of Pakistan as a neutral the should be in the MEC
*Somalia and Afghanstan will be better if united with Ethiopia and Pakistan respectivly

and I hope to test the beta MOD but plz don't make a UU for the MEC teams called Suicide bomber :)

it will probably be a barbarian, not a buildable unit

Well The Republic of Turkey is a democratic, secular, constitutional republic whose political system was established in 1923. Turkey is a member state of the United Nations, NATO, OSCE, OECD, OIC, and the Council of Europe. Turkey's main political, economic and military relations still remain firmly rooted within Western Europe and the United States. Turkey is currently in the process of accession to the European Union, with which it has had an association agreement since 1964, and Customs Union since 1996. Although 99% of the population is muslim.

Less so than Turkey. The Turks sent troops to fight with UN Forces in Korea among other things. Although currently the relationship is better between the US and Saudi Arabia then it has been in a long time its still tenuous the US is closing its base in Saudi or allready has done so.

but it's not realistic that they will fight to help Israel
Egypt seems to have good relations with the US too and they have sent troops to fight in kuwait and keep peace in bosnia too and have nothing to do really with lebanon or syria except common backgrounds yet I'm Egyptian and I know that Egypt can't stand with Israel against the MEC
Turkey can be neutral it's more acceptable to happen

since turkey is NATO.. they will stay NATO.. also even if turkey is mostly muslim .. they would join the side they believe would succeed in the war.. and they cant afford an all out war with NATO.. and all of the western countries.. it would ruin thier economy and society.. if they support the cause it is likely they will have even closer alliances with the stronger countrys.. it would benefit them more.. and eqypt hates israel so thats why its MEC..

also pakistan is nuetral cause it has its own problems with india.. as it has for years and years.. it cant offord an all out war.. and in the event this thing happens ethiopia would never join the war.. and somalia hates the US and western countries so itd probably join the MEC

EDIT: also the turks are not arab muslims.. they are turk muslims.. it still has the crusade bias but turkey is aiding the star and the cross ;)
