I don't know much about this, but the backstory is there on the page. It was supposedly one of the earliest "strategy games" written in the 1960s by a teacher, and the source code was lost, but now a modernized version is available on Steam.

Wow! And I thought, "Utopia," for the Intellivision was the first nation-building strategy games, or one of the very first, at least.
