Green overlaps W-A-Y too much with Paris. (Did you forget it was there?)

If I produce a settler, I may very well go with white dot.

Since we cannot exploit military, we must exploit something.

I have no problem if the AI fills cities in as we aggressively expand. We will just out-culture them and eventually take their city. Free City...

There's already a Warrior over by white dot ready to defend our second city. I was intending to use him to explore a little further west before bringing him back to escort our Settler.

It sure would be nice if we could pop some tech from a hut (Mining, in particular) to facilitate getting a decent tech from our attempted Oracle slingshot.

I don't even think we'd be allowed to build green dot b/c it's so close.

I just noticed now that I haven't posted since the turns went up thi smorning. Good turns, and you didn't break any of the variants you were so worried about

I like White and then Red I think for 2 and 3. (Also, w/red, we can move purple to the east and get that other gold instead. GW is right there; the sign is his borders. THAT is what i call settling in the teeth of the enemy.)

Heh. Pretty easy not to break the variant rules at this stage! :crazyeye: My turns took about 10 minutes. My biggest decision was what to research after Hunting. I thought about Mining -> Bronze Working but decided that if we wanted to try for the Oracle, we'd better get headed in that direction.

Wouldn't that be exactly how a wimp starts, or avoids, a war?

    Welcome back!

    Updated Roster:
    1. Pholkhero >>
    2. Lobsterboy >> just played, 20t
    3. JerichoHill >> UP NOW, 20t
    4. SpriteSODA >> on deck, 15t
    5. Frankcor >> 15t
    6. SkunkDr >> 10-15t (depending)

Jericho, have you had a chance to play??

edit: a true wimp never starts wars; avoid, yes ~ but only if they demand someting from us first...I'm not sure if we're allowed to ask for peace...but i would say that, as long as the Pretender reigns, we have to ask for peace ASAP and agree to whatever terms they put to us ~ INCLUDING giving away a city (too harsh?)

Hey, wait a minute! I blew it? How many wonders did you lose? How many religions did you almost found by two turns? That's it. No more Mr. Nice guy. The kid gloves are off. I'm calling you out on every bit of :smoke:--real or imaginary!

    Consider this your e-gloveslap!

No turns 'till your sig says: "Wearing ladies underpants since 1987". I'll now stop bothering you poor people.
