Okay, I'll download, play and post this evening. Meanwhile, I'll be studying and memorizing the variant rules -- I'd hate to mess this up. (actually, I'll be at work)

wait, have we gotten Metal Casting yet?? If not, what tech are we setting up to get w/the Oracle ~ I think we need to at least get MC before the Oracle ~ even if by just a turn.

I think that I would have started Bronze Working after Masonry instead of Writing so that we could get Metal Casting with the Oracle. If we switch now, we could delay completing the Oracle until BW is in. It's a risk, but now that we have Marble, we'll probably beat the AI to the wonder.

Of course, were we to get MC from the Oracle, one of the AIs would probably ask for it immediately. Naturally, we'd have to give it up.:p

Isabelle has already discovered Monotheism. Therefore, she may already be working on the Oracle. I think we can afford to wait until Bronze Working is in to complete it, but do we really want to risk waiting until both BW and Metal Casting are researched before finishing the wonder?

Are any of the other Civs in the game Industrious?

Alrightey, Sprite you take it, the Skunk can follow and then we'll go back to the regular rotation ~ that is, IF we can ever get the save . . .

also, Sprite: you should change it to BW i think. We could aim for taking MC w/the Oracle and then go after Writing>Alpha to trade it away (rather than having to GIVE it away once someone comes knocking)

Well not such an eventful turns.
I think we chose a too small map, its very croudy=\ .
0: Switch research to B/W from Writing.
    1-4:
5: Barbarian Warior attempts to kill our warior but fails.
    6: - " - , Stalling the Oracle.
    7-11:
12: Thucydides decided that we are 5 at culture.
13: Done with B/W, start Pottery cus we need it too for MC =[
Copper was found near Paris, but not inside her 2 pop culture.
    14-15:

In conclusion, the Oracle can be done in 1 turn, so just finish pottery and finish it, or finish it and grab Monarchy. Paris is now working on a settler, due in +- 12 turns. Before that, i've built another warior and a war chariot when the hourse was done. Pottery due in 6.

hey hey...someone remembered the save :p good turns, sprite! w/MC=450 beakers, and Monarchy=300, i thnk we should wait. If pottery and the oralce are done on the same turn, does the tech finish first so we can choose MC??

After MC we can either head Writing>Alph>beeline to Gun OR skip the writing/alph and head rigth for guns (and war). Also, if we could, i'd like to save fuedalism until we HAVE to get is to reduce the amt of time the AI could demand it from us.

    thoughts??
