Perhaps the larger point I want to make is that, in my adult life ever since 2000, it seems the Dems always say the GOP cannot ever win an election fairly anyway.
In any case, I'm only commenting on how ridiculous this "election denier" smear is. And it is a smear.

It's pretty clear given the degree of disenfranchisement and voter suppression in the US, any sufficiently close election is at least at risk of being decisively skewed by the sum impact of those things. Skewed in the direction of the hegemonic ethnic group who systemically face less barriers to voting. It goes to an extent that if America were another country on one of several other continents, the results would be reported in foreign correspondent stories as "marred by irregularities" and "criticised by civil society observers". That's different to all elections being won unfairly obviously. But within a margin, maybe 5% or so in some cases where there's a particularly high amount of skewing, results are deeply uncertain to reflect the result you'd get in a regular democratic system.

Gore also conceded on election night and then withdrew his concession (which, I don't even know if you can do or not, but whatever.

This is misleading. Gore called Bush to personally concede on 11/8/00, the Wednesday right after the Tuesday election. Then the (by now famous) Florida election irregularities surfaced, so Gore called back to retract his concession until those issues were decided by the Courts. Once they were & Bush officially declared the winner, Gore made a formal concession speech on 12/13/00.
