EU came all the way to Kazakhstan borders after the fall of Kazan. So Many Leopard Tanks...

I'm pretty happy all things considered. Even still as USA's vassal, so have made the major leap and finish second in this game even when starting as the absolute worst without breaking free is still pretty impressive!

Wow, major developments! Iraq rebelled, got nuked by uncle Sam, who took 2 cities. Baghdad is under siege by 2 units and defended by 1 unit (and bunch of Workers).

Man... This. Is. The. Very. First. Time. I see human being eliminated by AI. In PBEM. Then again I don't play alot of vanila raging barbarian games. But still...

Very predictably Iraq triple-nuked prosperous Columbia before US replaced client state of Iraq with the direct American rule, making it 52 state (51st was created in Africa some turns ago during the Kenyan war). Also very predictably the first activity in newly acquired land was ... rebuilding Oil wells by no less than 6 American Workers.

What was less predictable is disappearance of Iraq's Army, once used to captured most of Kenya. And that famous Transport which used to ferry great Merchants from Baghdad... where is it? Either Americans killed them all , or Iraqis committed mass suicide :suicide: in hopes of 72 ever-virgin houris in paradise.

I have discovered the Internet and I gain all the techs ... but the game crashes everytime after it posts a banner for every new tech I discover then crashes after the banner for the "Cyber Security".

I have reloaded 5 times and the same happens every game.

So the game has now come to a halt due to this bug!

Barbarian King got a PM from me asking for help with the link to the save.

Perhaps because BK has made Internet a national wonder, or because it tries to give player Future Tech, or perhaps of something else we have this nasty error and game crashes...

I am still waiting for news from Barbarian King. This was his last reply to me before Memorial Day(USA) weekend:

I will look into it this weekend and see if I can figure out what's wrong. I can't make any promises, though, since it has been something like two years since I've done any modding on Civ4 and I've forgotten a lot.

Good news, guys!

OK, I think I may have stumbled upon a solution. When the person who is getting the crash starts getting the techs after the internet is completed, tell them to simply click on a link in one of the tech screens so that it opens up the Civilopedia. Then just exit the Civilopedia and resume playing normally. I have no idea why this works (my best guess is that there is some sort of UI error being generated that gets fixed when opening the Civilopedia), but I tested it three times and avoided the crash all three times. Hope this helps!

Kazakhstan breaks free, secures peace with EU and continues war with Russia, taking two cities.

Wow. Intrigue is kept alive until the very last turn! Kazakhstan surpassed Kongo and now only 300 point bellow Columbia. Can they catch up in 4 turns? Something tells me they cannot. Making peace with Europe means heavy point granting cities like Moscow cannot be captured. Plus Columbia took some preemptive measures too

Well there was a army of about 10 or 11 leopard tanks outside Moscow. So I preferred to strike a deal. Sadly the one thing I forgot to try was offering cash.

EU made peace with Russia stealing Volgograd from Kazakhstan. To win the game Kazakhstan needs to close a gap in almost 300 points within the next 2 turns (perhaps there will be turn 0 before EU gets crowned as "vanila" Time victor).
