    Spooktober edition.

Why me? Why now? Why not 42?

Why is the title fine when viewing the topic, but the kerning is broken when viewing it from the OT subforum as a whole?

Because you accidentally revealed a break in the code of the CFC forum. The gaps there are actually used to run a second forum, for various illegal activities.

I'm upset with the title. There's no hexadecimal, octal, or binary to set people off on a rant.

I therefore have nothing to do.

Since this is the questions thread, was there a question in this non-rant?

    I'm pleased with the title.

I meant in this thread in particular, in which I hadn't posted so far.

Kinda feel like the Greeks have been resting on their laurels for the past few thousand years. What have y'all done lately?

Caratheodory and Papanikolaou are fairly recent. Yes, they justify the existence of the rest; I mean where would humanity be without the Pap test? ^_^

What is the best way to prepare russet potatoes in the microwave with the skin on? I can't boil them (leaching) and my oven is so dirty to be unusable because of my last roommate. Frying is out too.

When I "bake" a potato in the microwave, I wrap it in a damp cloth. Oh wait that is corn on the cob. Hmmm....You do have to pierce the skin so it/they doesn't explode.

If you get the oven hot enough, it kills any germs that might get to the food.
