The Volcano Errupts!!!!

Right under the Tiburòn Sea lies an underwater volcano. Now it has errupted and is shooting lava out and the lava is beeing cooled by the water and its building up. Its soon rising to becom a new Island!

The people of The China shore, England and Penguin Wald can see the massive rock thats growing out there in the sea. When the erruption stops, there has become a massive Island in the Tiburòn Sea. The Island Is called Tiburòn Island. Just after the erruption, a English Fisherman goes to the island. When he comes home, he brings a vag full of gems with him. The Erruption has sent out a lots of gems, the Island is filled with valuable gems...

Thre Countrys are claiming the Island beacause of it svaluable resources.. China, Fanatika and England wants controll over the Island.. Who will get the Island? Will there be war? Who will get the gems??

geologists has recently visited the island and it has been measured up. The size is 36 tiles... Its way larger then they had tought... There will have to be a huge debate on wich country are going to cet their hands on all of theese gems...

the gems are wanted extremely bad in fanatikain markets, they are said to glow like fire and heat up sometimes. they are heavy, ball shaped, and about 3 inches in diameter.

the gems are found in grassland where the endless expanse allows the gems to grow to there gaint size and cover many miles of land. some depostits are over 3x7 tiles! the gems go for about 50,000 gold on the market. some autions have them for about 110,000 gold-200,000 gold price range. the three countrys have funded a international exploration of the island and have found that the gems are made of a heavy, shiny stone often found in fanatika. but also have limestone in them. the debate what these gems realy are goes on.

* Shaitan Snow, the Baron of Süd-Besitz, read the report in front of him for the third time. Incredibly, the 3 powers were paralyzed in negotiation and official argument and the great prize of Tiburòn Isle sat neglected; prey to pirates and treasure seekers without any official governing presence.

The Confederacy must control this resource but he an his neighbor gunning1, Count of Eis Mauer, measured the farthest reach of House Vanir's power. And admittedly their power on the sea was not formidable. Still, if they could move decisively now the rewards could be great.

He immediately composed a lengthy letter to his brother Grandmaster requesting aid for the purchase of ships of war with a detailed explanation of the benefits of fast action. He then wrote to gunning1. There were two English frigates docked in Huntington. They must be taken or at a minimum held from service. Though they were ships of a time past they represented a great amount of the sea force in the area. He further wrote that he would himself travel to Eklektotchtitlan immediately and procure what ships he could and would then join up with Count gunning1 in Huntington.

After he had sent the missives off he summoned his clerk, servant, valet and military commander. As the servant and valet packed for his trip, he issued orders to his clerk and commander. *

Snow: (to his clerk) Send an envoy to his honor the Governor of Rhineland. Inform him I will be unavailable for some time as I pursue a private interest. He'll know something is up when a fleet assembles at Huntington but between the Count and myself we have enough oblige noblesse to stymie him.

(to his Commander) Mobilize the Süd-Besitz guard. Have the new artillery pieces been procured yet? Good. I was afraid they would be unavailable with all of the hardware being sent to Gaul. We'll need those artillery companies and a minimum of 3 brigades of the Guard. Fill their positions with reserves if you must. Rhineland is in little danger with the theater being so far east. Raise supplies for all units for a minimum of 6 months. There will be little enough to eat where we are going. You will have them all at a muster 20 miles northwest of Huntington in 14 days.

Valet: (interrupting) A thousand pardons, my liege. There is the matter of your mantle. Which will you choose?

* The valet holds up two mantles. One is features the crest of Süd-Besitz, his Barony. The other has an older and much simpler design and carries the blue and green of House Vanir. He points to the latter and smiles. *

Snow: For this excursion I will represent as the Count of Schlachtfeld. I am of a mind that the "Count of the Battlefield" will be more appropriate than the "Baron of the South Holdings."

Scouts to the area have reported the borders of this new island. Due to the still massive lava flows, it's too dangerous to explore.

...but, from the looks of it, this is the basic land features.

A few months after the island has cooled off (but, still inhospitable) - hey, time travels fast when ever turn is 5 years - maps have been drawn up, along with the borders that each nation claims.

Good map, but there should be more gems (fanatika has only 1)....

That just gives us incentive to get more of them.

Which is EXACTLY why we want the island.

*Strider read the report in front of him. He once again looked up through the window. From his Palace near New PDX he could see the island faraway. He knew that he could get to the island first.... and claim it in the glory of Utopia... and Fanatika.

Less than two hours later 2 boats can be seen leaving the Utopian harbor. It's clear desination being the island

Mellow: Wow! A new island! And we are the closest Fanatikan city to it! Dad! Get out Das Dada Boot. We've got an island to sieze.
So it looks like the Dadaists want this island too. Prehaps as an artistic retreat? Or mabey something capitalistic? Who knows? With Das Dada Boot moving at 11,000 knots a day (11 squares), it should reach the island in a day. On it is a group of Dada colonists, led by Sir SaaM the Reedy (who do you think would lead dada colonists?) Will they get there first? Stay tuned for the next episode of

Oh no you don't, SaaM. No Dadaists are gonna ruin THIS island.

Returning from the Tiburón Sea boat race, the Elves and Men on the Montpelier, a light cruiser, spot the eruption. The ship is severely damaged by the resulting tsunamis, and goes to Huntignton for repairs, which are now completed. However, the Montpelier was far out to sea before heading in for Huntington, so the Elves and Noldodan mount their Eagles once again and head for the island. They only have to travel 2,000 knots, and reach the island and set up shop ahead of all other takers. Other Elves from the Chinese mainland join them.

Noldodan: MWAHAHAHAHA!!! I'd like to see anybody take THIS island!

(FYI) There are now 1000+ Elves on the island, with Eagle mounts, infantry rifles, extensive camoflagued defensive positions and artillery batteries are currently being transported by the Montpelier, which is due in to the island in another 3 days. Good luck trying to take the island!

Oh, come on... You cant just paratroop to the island... Thats against the tech rules. And besides, you need to leave from mainland Fanatika, not somewhere in China. Grr... Should have grabbed the island when I had the chance. Wait! I still do!
Reedy: Noldodan may have taken the Chinese part, but I've got the Fanatikan Part!
And with this, Sir SaaM the Reedy landed on the zoned Fanatikan part of New Island. Planting the Cupertainan flag on the shore, he begins setting up a Dadaist community. Ignoring his pushy, overbearing father and tightwad, buearocratic brother, He calls in the Cupertanian Guard. They are now partoling the Fanatikan part of the island, keeping it safe from Chinese Elves. This moutainous region is now swarming with Cupertanian Troops. When the other factions arrive, they WILL be welcomed. They must, however, supply troops to safeguard the island from the elves and agree to live with the Dadaists.
I hereby declare the New Isle of Fanatika open to Fanatikan business. (BTW- We settled on the Gems)

What do you mean I paratrooped in? I used Eagles! And besides, I settled on the WHOLE ISLAND. It's MINE!!! But I GUESS we can share. 50:50?

Nold: It was dividied into country teritories. You launched your invasion off of china, thus entitling you to the Chinese part. Mine was off of Fanatika. So, I get the Fanatikan Part. Its in the boundries. Ill share if nesscisarry.

Clearly, the Fanatikan Elves landed first, and the Chinese landed later. But I'll concede the point and take the Chinese area. Now who gets the English area? Shaitan?

*Strider looked at the magnifcent island from less than a mile from the coast. He could see that the his neighbor and long friend has already sent troops to secure the Fanatikan portion, but yet... England has yet to arrive..... and why shouldn't fanatika own the entire island? He quickly set a route on the far northwestern side of the english portion. From there he marched his troops to the only mountains within the English portion. His troops adapted to hilly and steep terrian quickly adapted to the mountain and set up camp. Claiming this part of the island for Fanatika.*
