In a far away corner of the Universe, a planet was dying. What humans call today Kepler-62f (whose discovery this year caused a minor panic, resulting in the Grand Council to cover up the whole thing in NASA, hence why everyone currently believes it's a rocky crag.) was actually the home of a race not too unlike humans, except humans don't have the ability to cast magic. As anyone worth their salt knows, the Aes Sedan have three sex categories - male, female, and what humans would call "intersex", or in Aes Sedanian, the Ty'ls. Each one has a specific level of mastery, control, as well as different realms of magic.

The Ty'ls, not only have power beyond anyone's comprehension, and control over all realms of power, but also are likely, according to the most theorists, the source of all magic in the planet. However, they are also in incredibly low numbers, albeit with a longer lifespan than any known creature. Thorough the 30,000 years of history of the Aes Sedan, there are only ~50 recorded Ty'ls. Whenever a Ty'ls appears, however, a period of true bliss for all Aes Sedans comes, for that magic flows out of the Ty'ls, and Aes Sedans are magic. Without the life energy of magic, an Aes Sedan will slowly exhaust the magic built up in their veins from the constant exposure, until they are drained and die.

The men and women of Aes Sedan are much more...Normal, if you will. One should keep in mind that those are, for the most part, generalisations. Therefore, it would be possible to have a man Aes Sedan being more powerful than a woman Aes Sedan, which has happened plenty of times, and both men and women Aes Sedan can be free to specialise in whatever spells they wish. That being said, the hundreds of years of both scholarship and historical sources appear to point us into the following conclusions:

    1. Women Aes Sedans tend to be more powerful spellcasters, specialising in mind-control magic, and generally use more...subtle ways of killing you, whether it is poison or turning you insane. This magic, of course, can take a fair bit longer to cast, but are sure to work and make their target suffer. They are also known for being skilled magical craftswomen, being able to create artifacts of arcane power. Perhaps the most famous is the Sam'shan, a magical necklace which sucks out the wearer's magical force, giving them enough energy just to physically exist, but not cast any magic, essentially becoming a mindless automaton. The sucked out force is then transferred into the creator (or owner) of the Sam'shan, making them more powerful. However, a weaker spellcaster attempting to siphon the energy of a more powerful spellcaster, can only end badly. It makes the siphoning unstable, and almost always results into the death of both spellcasters, but not only that, but it also destroys the artifact in the process, unleashing its energies that allow it to work, leaving destruction in its wake. The use of Sam'shan has been prohibited ever since the famed and perhaps, the most powerful non-Ty'ls, Aes Sedan Mairein attempted to bind a Ty'ls with a Sam'shan, which led to a clash between the anti- and pro-Mairein factions, embroiling the planet into a brutal war.

    2. Men Aes Sedan are weaker spellcasters, but an interesting trend seems to be that it seems they often have stronger outliers than usual, while women Aes Sedan, while being stronger on average, rarely have truly powerful outliers (but when they do...). Furthermore, they seem to often make up the difference in power via numbers; often uniting into the so-so called "chains" of male spellcasters, which can grow up to 50. While they are individually weak, coming together, they can certainly be a formidable foe. Unlike their women counterparts, they are rarely capable of magical spellcraft. However, their control over the elements allows them to be very handy in more trivial and banal creations, which allows civilization to operate properly and on time.
One must note, that the sex one is born with is not what determines their place in society. What does, however, is magical power. You can be born a woman, yet serve a man who is much more powerful than you. And vice-versa. In addition, the two sexes don't avoid each other; indeed, it's been long-since learnt that the best results are achieved when the two cooperate. The only exception there is, that the Ty'ls stand above all, naturally, as they are the most powerful. A Ty'ls is destined to rule...Alone, very rarely there are two Ty'ls alive at the same time.

Maybe if it was haunted or something, but assests are usually meant to be bigger things. A video game making company that your organisation owned would be an asset, for example.

As for the second question, no.

EDIT: Actually if you can do it in a way that's not a complete funpost I'll consider it.

    The Necrotic Brotherhood

The Necrotic Brotherhood is an old institution, founded by Russian necromancers in the middle ages to study their art far from prying eyes and the grasp of the Church. Enjoying the patronage of noble members, the Brotherhood flourished in relative secrecy, only showing up in the odd horror tale. It is unknown how far these necromancers of old pushed the art. The Necronomicon, one of the works created by these necromancers, has even reached fame in the mainstream conscious. However, it was not to last. During the Russian Revolution, the power of the nobility collapsed, and the Necrotic Brotherhood, most of whom had joined the White Army, were sent to gulag camps or went into hiding.
How the brotherhood survived the Soviet period is unknown. Who their leader is unknown. However, what is known is that after nearly a century of laying low they have resurfaced once again - this time as a part of Putin's intelligence forces. Now the Russians don't need you alive to talk, and the dead never lie.

    The Origin of the Necromancer

In the youth of the World, the god Veles was envious of his brother, Perun's creations and desired to create himself, to embody himself in something mortal, something that could only be beautiful because of its fragility. However, Veles is of Death and not of Life, so he could not create. If he could not create, then he would modify - he fashioned a clay vessel and imparted a human soul from his domain onto it, creating a being not of Death and not of Life, but wholly of its own. This was the first necromancer. Veles was so delighted by his success he granted the creature a great favor - the ability to see the linens of Life that bound all living things - and to manipulate those threads to create Unlife - a state of not quite Death and not quite Life. Perun was furious with his brother's violation of his creation, and sought to destroy the Necromancer, but Veles fought Perun for seven days and seven nights to protect that which he had wrought. Afterwards, Perun swore to avenge himself, and the two Gods had been mortal enemies since.

From time to time, Veles takes a peak into the Mortal World, and sees a child not unlike the first one he created, and grants it special powers. These are the origins of the modern necromancer.

In the ancient times, before the humans built their great empires, beings of great and terrifying power walked above the Earth. The names of the Beings were as elusive as their tongues and actions, but when they transformed and shook the Earth with their powers, mankind believed them to be Gods. Perhaps the beings did believe themselves divine, for they started to create life on their own, twisting the forms of those they found into new, fantastic shapes. Those beings became the Forged, born unnatural births but given life just the same, and out of fear Man and Forged came to arms, defending themselves against the machinations of the other.

Then the Beings vanished, by their own hand or by ours we do not know, but with their cruel influences gone peace seemed within reach. The Forged and the Men we saw as allies met with our enemies at the foot of the mountain, Olympus, where the Beings once called home and made peace with one another. The Forged left to create their own home far away, and the stories of the Beings and the Forged descended into legend. The Beings became Zeus and the Gods, and the Forged became the monsters and beasts that they created.

"That's all the mythical legend flotsam, really," the catfolk female says, closing the dusty tome with an air of finality and depositing it back on the shelf before gliding back to your side gracefully. "We and the humans who were sympathetic to our side left the world of Man behind to find our own place. The Forged, or the Creatures as we later began calling ourselves, built our own city far out in the sea, and man and Creature never troubled one another again," she concludes.

"As for the Deucalion Guard, that came sometime later," the catwoman continues, looking over the expanse of the map pinned to the wall behind her. "After we settled in, we came to learn their were other groups of Creatures in the world, many of whom had not made peace with the humans as we did. So we set out to make peace with Man, creating an organization that would protect our kind and keep them out of sight from the prying eyes of the humans. That, of course was the Deucalion Guard." The catwoman gestures to the banners hanging from the ceiling of the grand library; black with red hands cradling a flame. "We've worked in the shadows since then, of course, giving a home to the creatures and beasts that, up until recently, you probably believed were myths. Even today we bargain behind closed doors with the humans and their nations, keeping our kind protected and sheltered from unkind eyes."

"So to answer your question, yes," the catwoman says coolly. "The Greek legendary monsters, the Dwarves and Giants of the Norse, the spirits from the Far East? They all exist. Heck, there's even some Creatures that humans made here, thanks to Mary Shelly. They all need our protection, and that's what the Guard does. And going by the look on your face," the catwoman says with a sly grin, "you are quite eager to help our cause. That is good. If the rumors are to be believed, we will need all the help we can get to shelter the Creatures of this world."

    FOUNDING:

The United Nations Interdimensional and Paranormal Crime Enforcement and Investigation Organization was founded in 1958 by J. Edgar Hoover and Ivan Serov who would become the organization’s first Director-Chairman with Alexander Shelepin replacing him as the Chairman of the KGB. Hoover originally offered to found the Organization with Serov after KGB and FBI cooperation in securing the paranormal international terrorist [REDACTED] and covering the existence of [REDACTED] in the first few months of 1958. Originally named The FBI-KGB joint task force on International Paranormal Investigation, the Organization would operate under this moniker for 5 years before becoming its own special United Nations organization and adopting its new name. The Organization would originally be focused on securing and defending the world from paranormal threats but would eventually expand its operation into diplomacy and officially representing the “normal states” of the United Nations within the Paranormal world.
