First, there were personal web pages. Then, there were blogs. Then, depressingly, there were Vlogs. Then, there were microblogs (although twitter has already jumped the shark).

But now, the moment we've all been waiting for! Introducing: the NANOBLOG!!!!!! Let everyone know how you're feeling - in 10 characters or less!

And so I ask: Do you have a personal web page? A blog? A microblog? Do you use, e.g., facebook to blog and/or microblog? What do you blog about? Serious stuff? Stuff that happens in your life? Whatever random thought pops into your head that you want your friends to know about? If you don't blog, why not? Do you use forums, 'Zines or pets to serve the function of personal blogging? Are you simply an incredibly dull individual, and don't wish the world to find out? Or are you just not extroverted enough to "put yourself out there" like that?

How do you feel about this?

Web logs are cool in their original form. I blog too. I read one other blog. If you don't like them, don't read them.

Nanoblogging seems like text messaging for the 'net. :)

Now that I'm on facebook I've thought about doing random and fun stuff like "what Whomper likes". Too much seriousness in the rest of my life and many times I can't print it on electronic mediums.

No. No. No. No. Nothing.

I don't have the time to waste typing messages to people about how I don't have the time to waste typing the messages that I'm typing. So I just don't type them to begin with.

I may eventually start a blog or something to provide updates on some programming projects I'm working on, assuming that I ever get time to comlete them to the point where there's something to see.

I'd almost like to think that it was satirical, but I guess there's no way of proving that... Surely, no-one could think that something so pointless was a good idea? If nothing else, it's fairly pointless- a very short twitter post would amount to the same thing?

I bloged and died before live journal hit the mainstream.

It's satirical :) (scroll to the bottom of the page)

I'm so glad I never livejournal'd...

I'll post some ramblings on my website once in a while, but that's about it.
