Check out my totally lame website at: http://www.geocities.com/nick_dowling2002/index.html

(I made it in half an hour yesterday, so please go easy on me)

I've noticed that most people seem to have heaps of abandoned scenarios cluttering up their hard drive.
Rather then having this effort go to waste, send the scenarios to me, and let others either enjoy or finish off your work

BTW, the web page is no-where near complete. - In the next few days I'm planning to add some links to useful resources and to improve the site's appearance (which shouldn't be hard ;) )

Hey Case,

This is a fantastic and new revelation in the world of scenario design. However, I just thought I would give you a few ideas and tips which might be worth considering.

1) In your rules you mention that the tech tree, and graphics should be half way done...there might be situations in which someone who wants to finish up the scenario may just use their own or use completely different artwork...

2) Keep in mind, and I know that you are trying to make sure everyone gets credit, however, there should be a clause in which the author may request to remain anonymous (e.g. they may not want to be associated with what actually becomes of the scenario).

3) A good background might really spruce the site. It's just one command. You might even just use one of the Civ II textures from the Icon.gif file.

Otherwise, I think that this is a worthy pursuit. You might branch out into another area by listing some scenarios that may need an update...such as many scenarios from 1996,97,98 which no one has paid much attention to. I think that if a scenario goes 3 years without an update, it's probably abandoned by the author or in the author's eyes "perfect". Either way, there is always room for artistic viewpoint.

Good work!

:goodjob:
