there is a FF mod in development?

hi
i am interested to join a team that could develop a mod for FF.
i can make 2d and 3d, help with free web pages and ftp to assist
modders communications.
if any1 is interested please send me a pm or reply here
i like a lot this new mod and i think some MOO or EVE addictions can make it a lot better.

Well, I was thinking about doing one, as were several other people, but I think the issue is two fold. First, in the discussions, everyone seems to have different ideas of what they'd like to see added to FF. Second, the original firaxis developer of the mod is intending to put out his own patch/fix/update/expansion to the mod in.. a few weeks now I guess. Between these two, I think many people are sort of biding their time.

There were some rumors about Star Wars and Star Trek mod groups (which already existed) switching to using an FF base. Also, I think many would be modders for FF are getting their feet wet with the FF base, and figuring out what and how things can be modded in FF.

I have almost completed an intermediate Mod for this. Couldn't wait for the patch before starting. I should finish testing by this weekend.

With a space mod for Civ4, I simply had to start a Wing Commander mod... So yes, I'm trying to make a FF mod, although I am only learning the basics atm.
