Seriously, the text is borderline unreadable on the large setting. I've got a 50" TV and I don't think I sit that far away from it and, again, I've got a lot of problems reading the basically all of the text outside of a few menus (pause, diplomacy).

Absolutely - not that I have any issues myself, 55" screen and sitting like 2 meters from it. But of course there should be more options for that and a thousand other things that are simply shining in absence.

But the UI is not really even beta, it is barely sufficient for even basic task managing not to mention actually transmitting information as well as continually glitching out (map jumping). The UI and the ages seem to the parts that really, really need patching.

Completely agree - I sit not far from a large TV and wish the text was more legible. Your longtime fans have been playing for 30 years and their eyesight (mine included) isn't getting better.
