What things have changed your mind on OT? And what arguments made it happen?

A lot of people are more interested in debating style than the substance of what is debated.

There are jokes that make you look like a wit the first time, a halfwit the 2nd, a quarterwit the 3rd, etc. A lot of OT people do not realize this and continue posting the same joke over and over until it clear that they are witless.

Very indirectly from CFC OT: I was in a discussion about communism and capitalism here and ended up exchanging PMs with Integral. He pointed me to an article on applause lights at Overcoming Bias, which later moved to Less Wrong. Following discussion there I ended up at Mencius Moldbug's Unqualified Reservations, wherein I was, if not quite awakened from my dogmatic slumber, at least given the opportunity to grunt "five more minutes" in my nap of conventional wisdom.
