Hi. Long time lurker semitime poster. Ive played every civ and Ac. Clocked 1500hours to civ 5 and good nows to the rest.
Some small thimgs i miss, mostly from smac. Some more creative tile improvents. Like a airbase/fort combo. May give maybe 1 air slot, and 50% defence bonus for land unit. Maybe even Some form of cannon that got no defence, but can fire like a city. How about a Sam site tile improvement, makes the air layer more fun.
And buldings. Maybe a airport that increase air slots in a city, where is the tree farm building?
Bring back the harbour to the game unlocked at planetary survey. Right now instant city connection when costal makes roads less valuble.
And units. Why isnt there a a bomber that requires petroleum? Only 1 air unit in the game seems Plain. If the bomber was in the game, Then petroleum would be more valuble and makes sky dominance important. And maybe a reavel an area of the map satilitte. Dunno how itll work, but you get the idea.
Now on balance.
NERF trade routs both internal and external. It makes almost every yield irrelevant. Buff spesialists, mabe give spesialist a small +% to the city. Like +3 energy and +3% energy income. Atleast Buff the yield of engineer, trader and grower by +1 or +2. Right now the only reason im using spesialist is crappy tiles or scientists or artists. Seems redundant a grower only create as much food as he eats.
Oh, and how about having a spesialist slot in more buildings. Not standatd spesialists, but that give a bonus yield to the building. Like example. Clinic, put a citizen in it, and it makes another 2 health. Just to make buildings more intresting. What do you guys think?
