think i found a bug - didn't get GP from ruin

pathfinder found a ruin, picked a great prophet...never got it...nothing,,,

Well to be fair, being able to get a GP from a ruin should be a bug. That is way to much for a ruin imho.

Why people keep saying that you can get a Great Prophet through a ruin? Shouldn't that be just 20 faith? (or was it 30?)

Yeah, i dont think there is a Great Prophet in Ruins. Only some faith which amount depends on gamespeed.

It is called a great prophet and it gives you 60 faith. But it's not a Great Prophet.
(I believe this was already in G&K by the way )

In Gods and kings the ruin said the same thing. It gives you 20-30 faith. Enough for a pantheon. Not a bug

Isn't the phrase "a great prophet appears and gives you XX faith"

i.e you get 20 or 60 faith.

I don't think GP are founded in ruins. Settlers and workers are the only units found in ruins when playing on Settler difficulty

The title for the pathfinder's choice is misleading. What you're getting is 60 faith (at least that's what I got). The first time you use the faith selection it gives 20 faith to get a pantheon. The second time it says "Great Prophet" but it's not going to give you 200 faith.

I think its referring to the ruin that normal civs get that states something like "blah blah foresee the arrival of a great prophet"
