think I found a bug..

Not to sure about this because I do not have a tone of experince with this game, but I was attacking a coastal city which had some tanks, inf. fighters and battelships. I took out the tanks and inf but everytime I went to enter the city it would say my combat odds where 1.0% becuase it was compairing my tanks 28 vs battelship 40...how can the battelships be defending the city? Also when I ordered my battelship to attack the city it would say there was nothing to do since the city had no more defenses..
so it was using the computers battelships to defend the city, but my battelships could not attack the battelships because they where in the city...I can not take over this city...
any help?

Did you actually try to attack the city with your tanks? Because it might just say the odds but not mean to. If you enter the city the battleships should auto-destroy. Or were you actually unable to attack the city? If that's the case then it is a bug.

Try removing you battleships and sending out a suicide workboat to lure the ship out of the city.

What version ("Vanilla"/Warlords/BTS) and what patch-level do you play? Also, posting a save is usually helpful when you think you've got a bug to report.

wow, did not even think about posting the save, sorry...the version is the out of the box 3.17 i think version. NO we never entered the city with the tanks due to the combat odds, should have tried that I guess...
