    Link to video.

Yeah, kinda sinks that pro-choice argument that "everyone agrees abortion is a bad thing but it has to be legal to protect women from dying on the streets". There are indeed some sick twisted ****s that celebrate the death of the unborn.

The Center for Reproductive Rights wants you to celebrate that 55 million of these have been killed in the past 40 years.

Keep in mind that Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, a white woman whose explicit intent was to destroy the African-American population through abortion. Makes the racist undertones of this video sort of breathtaking.

I just think abortion is a really, really poor substitute for effective contraception.

I'm not really sure women do use it as contraception.

No one really thinks "I'm going down to the movies and later tommorow im having an abortion and then im going to..."

Although i may have misunderstood your post borachio.

Actually, I think a lot of women do.

The daughter-in-law of a friend of mine has had six children, and at least six abortions that we know about.

I find it very hard to believe the numbers of abortions that take place in the UK annually are anything other than mostly the result of negligent contraception.

Also, I think the psychological effects of this on mostly women, but also to some extent their partners, goes largely unremarked.

So? It makes me sick that other people buy into anti-contraceptive campaigns for contrived moral reasons and happily watch STDs spread over a whole continent.

See, it's easy to play the condescending indignation game.

Right here! I think that more people should have abortions. That, to use your terminologies, more babies should die. I make no bones about this, nor do I apologise. Screw 'em; I've got better things to do than worry about people that only exist inside your head.

Wait, Sanger wanted to "destroy the African-American population"? I know she had some screwy views on race, but that seems to be overstating it more than a bit.

Which kind of makes her a hypocrite: not living up to her own standards of bigotry.

    Still.

So is this thread celebrating ignorance then?

The fact that the male population is not smart enough to figure things out, seems to have led to the need that women had to?
