You can change graphics settings by going to my documents\my games\sid meier's civilization 5\ and editing the GraphicsSettingsDX9.ini or GraphicsSettingsDX11.ini. There's an option near the end of the file to set fullscreen from 1 to 0.
Also i edited to bypassed the intro in the user ini file.
