If the Civ5 forum:
"This forum isn't for ranting about Steam."
...and threads from those against Steam, regardless of how pitifully written, are going to be closed, then shouldn't the threads featuring Steam fanbois and worshipping Steam be closed too, since "This forum isn't for ranting about Steam." ?
If you're going to close some under the premise of "This forum isn't for ranting about Steam." - you should close all.
IMO, some of the (new?) posters that post in the Civ5 forums "rant" as much for Steam as any rant against it, and are as rude or worse than those who don't care for Steam.
The Steam threads are getting a bit old, but it's not like there's much to discuss about Civ 5 for lack of info/new info. It's all about Steam, which civs should/should not be included, or discussing potential mods for a game nobody knows much about (boggles the mind).
